I'm really liking these lines, considering the injuries. That Street line has the potential to be dangerous with all three very capable goal scorers and set-up men. Fourth line looks like it could easily outmatch the Canucks' fourth line.
Good opportunity for Street to show what he can do at this level.
Man -O-man this kid was finally showing what he was capable of he seem to be injury prone of the freak variety. Street has looked good in the Heat games that I have seen so i'm not suprised that he got the call.
Do we know when Baertschi is supposed to come back? Any announcements? I hope he gets back soon so a scenario of Comeau on the 3rd line doesn't take place.
The thing I like most about this video is that he seems like a really intelligent guy. I really like that Feaster and Weisbrod seem to key on intelligent people for the organization.

Can't believe people are actually questioning whether Backlund should be signed again.

Him hudler and tanguay have been the three best forwards so far this season. Put some finishers around backlund and he could be over a ppg right now. The only players I care to watch right now are hudler tanga and Brodie... Need baertschi back quick!

Would be nice if the flames had some talent in the minors that would lead to excitement. Not calling up career minor leaguers. Injuries open up opportunities for other players, however the "other players" need to have a little talent in order to seize those opportunities. Hopefully weisbrod keeps up the good drafting.
man, what is feaster going to do with backlund this offseason?? very very tough situation for the GM.
Not really. Backlund has shown promise if he doesn't play much more this season he can probably be signed to a 2-3 year deal at 1-1.5M per and that is an easy yes for Calgary

I hate to say it, but maybe Backlund is too fragile.....good time move an asset
Dumb.comment... Should the oilers give up on hall? He hasn't played a full season either.... It isn't like it is an effed up knee, back, or concussion he keeps messing up. They have all been freak injuries, knee once, shoulder once (while being jumped) and a broken finger.
1. has there been more call ups from the farm the past two seasons then anytime during the Darryl Era?
2. does that have to do with injuries and man games lost? or because of an actual culture change with weisbrod and feaster? or because the farm has significantly got better?
3. all of the above
