I'd be ok with that. I guess Brodie and Wideman already have the chemistry.

On a 5 on 3 i would like to see Wide Man and The Anton on the point though.

Fingers crossed that we have both Cammy and Baertschi back by Wednesday at the latest. We need to put some skill back in and bump Comeau back to the 4th line where he won't be over his head.

I'm upset about Backs though... he was a real catalyst out there for us.

The lineup looses a noticeable amount of energy instantly without him.
On the other hand..

Excited for Street.

But tomorrow is going to be tough. Very tough.

meh Street will be fine... If Hudler and Cervanka can make Stajan look like a serviceable NHL centre then I have faith they can do that for anyone.

... I think for the first time ever, I'm fighting for Stajan... he looks good with the 2 Czech's, I'd have him there. Dare I say, he's playing great this year.

Yep no doubt, tomorrow will be a tough game, the canucks are playing well right now.We will need a great effort, but we need a good game from Irving. I would think Cammy will play on Monday, but Baertschi would be closer to Friday i think.

Want to see Babchuk in Smith's place. Smith has been better of late, would actually like to see Butler bumped down but can't have it all.

Will be interested to see what Street can bring. Hope he can excel in the NHL.

Despite the hate for Comeau, I actually think we have a decent third line.

I am also interested to see how Babs plays in Bob's system.

Me too. I'm not piling on Brent because I loved the move at the time he was hired but it is starting to seem that Hartley is able to get more out of certain guys than Brent was able to get out of them.

I'm interested to see if the new style of play benefits Babchuk's game.

Congrats to Street but man oh man Backlund's injury is just heartbreaking. He was really coming into his own and it's a shame that for the second year in the row he'll be sidelined. Good to see that Sven is getting better and that Cammy will be back soon. Go get them Ben!

So how do we turn Ben Street into a Czech name?

Benedikt Streeka?

Backlund was really one of the most impactful players out there, man is he gonna be missed.

All the best to Street though, this is the shot players like him dream of, I really hope he makes it count!

I'm really liking these lines, considering the injuries. That Street line has the potential to be dangerous with all three very capable goal scorers and set-up men. Fourth line looks like it could easily outmatch the Canucks' fourth line.
