OK, I'll bite. If it wasn't George Harrison's work, whose was it? Lennon and McCartney's?

And so we don't lose track of the theme of this thread: the Travelling Wilbury's sucked.

Sounds like the same debate << cough cough fear mongering >> that we all heard 10 years ago about the CPC.

The fact is that Redford and her party, and every leader since Ralph, has done a horrid job of governing Alberta. Its because of them that Alberta's finances, infrastructure, and programs, are in their current abysmal state..

Alberta is the richest province in Canada (on a per capita basis), and has been for years and all the previous PC governments have done is piss it away.

Its time for a change.

All Things Must Pass has one of the greatest groups of studio mussicians and producers ever assembled. I don't dispute the fact Harrison was well connected in the music industry.

The point is, electing Conservatives 2.0: Repressed Minority Edition: Now With More Bootstraps! isn't going to elicit the change you expect.

Yep, being a Beatle I'd say there were lots that wanted to play with George Harrison. Don't think that sullies his legacy in any way. He wrote every song on the album (only 3 song writing co-credits out of 23 tunes on the album).

I enjoy when a "trained" tiger, lion, bear, ect., attacks their trainer. Serves those idiots right for trying to profit from the enslavement of a wild animal.

It's the eternal struggle of the modern small 'c' conservative.

Vote for CPC and get an incompetent (at best) or corrupt (at worst) party whose social politics you agree with, vote for Wildrose and get an inexperienced (at best) or malicious (at worst) party whose social politics sound at home in 1950s Kentucky.

That's your opinion, and you are certainly entitled to it.

Mine, obviously, is different.

And certainly plays well to all the left wing Liberals and NDP here on CP who probably make a yearly pilgrimage to Montreal to pay homage at the grave of PET (Canada's Socialist of the Century).

It would help me form a better opinion if every part of their platform was a bit more concrete.

Their policy descriptions run in coherence from "vague" to "explaining a movie to someone based on a trailer you saw at 3 AM when drunk".

On top of that, anytime they are asked to firm up a policy, they hand-wave the question.

So yeah, I'm basically filling in the gaps based on what we know, and based on Danielle Smith's xenophobic, anti-immigrant, isolationist, spiteful, and ignorant opinion pieces during her tenure at the Herald.

I wish we had an American electoral system, where we could elect our elected representative and our leader separately. I also wish we could elect Judges, and make them accountable for their prescadent setting decisions

Thats the thing,

Wild Rose and Smith supporters do not understand Canada's need for immigration and why it is becoming more and more important. They vote wtih feeling and not sense.

You're coming dangerously close to jumping the shark, Rerun. This is like the fourth thread on the first page of the off topic forum where you're currently going at it against "left wing liberals".

Like seriously, did a Liberal kick your dog this morning or something?

Sorry to interrupt yet another political pissing match (seriously, can't we have fun threads anymore?)

Not really an opinion, but I live beside one of the largest skating rinks in the world, and never skate on it.
