Did you not throw out Irving's GAA and SV of Irving (4 periods) over kippers 7 games?
Do you really feel this team is better with Kipper out of the lineup?
Lets see Irving win us more then one game before we have a goalie controversy.
P.S. I'm happy to see someone other then Kipper come in and win.

.870 is really bad, really really bad. There are 10 goalies worse than him and 52 that have been better so far.
|
You know what else Kiprusoff has? Over 300 NHL victories. Thats really good. really really good.
There arent 10 other active goalies that can claim that.

The year Kipper won the Vezina the Flames allowed 20 goals in the first 4 games. Just sayin. Anyway Irving was good enough for the win. He shouldn't be looked upon to steal every game like he had to to get a win last year.

This is the best Flames team we've has since 2006. I' m not saying this is a Stanley Cup contender, but if we get our goaltending in order and stay reasonably healthy (which doesn't look good lately) I'd say this team will easily be a playoff team.

LOL...what?
You dont "generate" points for anyone but yourself.
As stated...1/2 the points available is .500.....spinning it any other way is ridiculous.

which is why I'm hoping he gets back to form. Irving is mediocre at best so far, the pack mentality of jumping on anyone without actually thinking about what they say is ridiculous. So much of you lunatics making assumptions and making insinuations, how about you stop doing that

Wow can some people ruin a win. The Flames have won two in a row, 5 out of the last 6 points and were 3 minutes away from having points in six straight games. I'm going to enjoy this one and hope for another good performance on Saturday. Go Flames, all of them.

We look great! So exited about what Wideman is doing for this team, the puck pursuit by the forwards and especially the pressure going forward from the D is almost relentless and we have seen this now 3 games in a row. This team is skating circles around the opposition and the Two big signings this off-season are major contributors to that which is great to see. We still have to get through the next 2 games of this road trip though and I hope to continue to see the awesome swarm mantility that the Flames have been demenstrating.
Oh and where's Tanguay's "fricken" thread?? Come on!!! (said like Gob Bluth)

Average and sloppy at times but the Flames played with a lot of energy.
