So you're saying Irving is better than Kipper this season.. 8 games in? And with this being Irving's first start?
Unbelievable

Ugh, that hit that sent Backlund out is one of those "didn't look so bad" hits that end up with someone being out for weeks.

I love TJ Brodie.
We've got a real player in this kid IMO.
He just keeps getting better and better.

Great win. Now if only Rob Kerr would dislocate his head.

We should of had Comeau involed in a three team deal where we receive a condition 2nd round pick from the Islanders if he shows up to play

Yeah I am. Kipper is directly responsible for us losing 3 games this year and is among the worse statistically of any goalie in the NHL.

Anybody see Giordano's face as he came off the ice? If his gap control and positioning were better on the 2-on-1s this game might have been the 4-1 score it should have been.
Irving was ok.
Brodie looks better every game.
Cervenka's best game in a while. Oddly, despite Hudler getting 2 points I thought he was a bit off tonight.
Last year's team doesn't win this game. Lots of positives!

Anyone got that pic of Feaster and the upstairs box crew all with the Conroy smiles photoshopped on their faces? That was one of my favorite PGT pics.

I REALLY want Comeau to do well, especially with him getting a chance in the top 9, but he can't stick handle to save his life. Hopefully its a confidence thing that can improve, but he was frustrating to watch tonight.
Watching him fight the puck, it looks like someone who naturally shoots left, being forced to play with a right handed stick
