I'm glad they won as they deserved to based on the majority of the night dominating the Jackets.

Flames have been consistently good and have consistently gotten lots of scoring chances in their games.

The Kipper of the past, of course he's better than Irving. We're talking in the present, and this year Irving is as good or better than Kipper.

Looked like he collided knee - on - knee with a Blue Jacket.

Irving was just fine.

That was his first start in a month, and his first NHL start in like 10 or 11 months.

He was good enough for the win, and will hopefully only get better from here.

More likely a knee on his knee. Not dirty and unintentional. Just an awkward hit.

I like Kerr's excitement, loved the final goal call!

Who wasn't yelling when the Flames scored in overtime!

I didn't see it happen, was giving the kids a bath, just going by what I read on facebook. Hopefully it isn't serious.

Damn.

Yup, the Vancouver-Abbotsford game on Saturday should be great. With both teams playing at home, who gets the last change?

Anybody else notice how many good plays Comeau killed with his lack of hands, or general ability to hang on to the puck?

Sure maybe, probably not. The fact that you're touting this and almost bragging after a pretty shakey game by Irving is hilarious though.

So glad this team was able to win that one for Irving. He looked shaky, but the W will help his confidence. Excited to see him play against the canucks - he did great against them last year.

Brodie a +3 on the night - great play on the OT goal.

Hope Backlund is alright... fit in well with the Czech(oslovakian) line, then promptly got hurt.

Great game for Calgary. Lots of chances and could have easily been a blowout.

Top line still a little too fancy, but can't complain about the OT goal. Hunder and Cervenka continue to be magic. Hope Backlund is OK.

Oh yeah...first time I've ever muted the game, ever. Kerr was that annoying

But clearly I had something in my eye. He needs to stay on the 4th/PK.
He may be a nice guy, but he needs to stay far away. I'd rather we call up someone from the farm to play on the 4th for less cash then Comeau.

We were all lamenting the team's depth early on, when Sven could barely crack the lineup, now it's looking like a major strength. Teams with fewer forwards would be in trouble with those guys going down, Calgary looks like it can still ice two really solid lines.
