Gastric bypass and lab band surgery is for people that lack self control.
Well, as a member of Overeaters Anonymous, the first step is admitting that we lack self control over food. It's based on Alcoholics Anonymous where the first step is admitting a lack of control over alcohol.
You make it sound like people who cannot control their eating are weak people in general. Some of the strongest people I have ever known I have met through OA that are brought to their knees by this particular addiction. After losing 170 pounds, I have regained 10 and have joined OA to try to stem the tide because I don't want to go back to where I was.
So, I think what is unpopular about your opinion is the generalization that overeaters can automatically be categorized as weak people. There is a big difference between what you said and what blankall said.
Personally, I think those that undergo surgery to stem their appetites are brave. They are willing to go under the knife, commit to a lifetime of dietary restrictions - all in an attempt to get back to semblance of a normal healthy body. I'm thinking that maybe I should have done the same. I often say that I feel like I am a 170 pound man with the appetite of a 340 pound man. My mind seems to think I still need all that food that I used to eat. I have no problem admitting that I am powerless over this addiction. I do have a problem saying that I am weak-willed in general.
I think that the chick who sings the song "Call me maybe" is terrible and that song represents everything thats wrong with modern music. In other words you young people have no taste in music.
Young people with their denim pants and "t-shirts". Makes me sick

How do you feel about this song?
It was the biggest song of 1969.
Bubble gum pop has always existed. Get off your musical high horse...
Michael Jackson was a child molesting pervert, as well as a freak. He should have been shunned by society instead of idolized.
This is all just my opinion of course, but I don't think he ever molested anyone. He definitely had security issues, but I've always believed he simply liked being in the presence of kids because he liked being surrounded by innocence. The guy was probably just searching for that simple happiness that seems to have alluded him throughout his childhood and adult life.
Was he a weirdo? Well, that's for you to decide. But don't think he did anything criminally wrong.

^This. Makes me think of that Dave Grohl quote from the Grammys. "It's not about being perfect, it's not about sounding absolutely correct, it's not about what goes on in a computer," he told the Grammy audience. "It's about what goes on in [your heart] and what goes on in [your head]."
I can understand the whole "rap is terrible" standpoint even if I don't agree, but from a purely semantic point of view, it certainly qualifies as music. I mean, that's a fact, not an opinion.

Actually, it improves the populations DALY's (Disability adjusted life years) out of all interventions for obesity, but it's cost is one of the highest current interventions available. Surprisingly, the next highest improvement to DALY's is reducing or banning fast food advertisements to children; and is also the least expensive intervention available.

I think that all boy bands, girl bands and pop singers should be put in labor camps where they spend 10 hours a day manufacturing wallets for sale and another 3 in reducation classes that teach them that what they do isn't music its commercials for hair care products
