Disagree. Had some good girl friends in University that I definitely wasn't trying to sleep with, they were just really cool and funny girls.
However if you said you cannot be friends with someone you find extremely attractive I'd find it hard to argue against that.

In my opinion a startling large proportion of the opinions people have posted in this thread are in fact not unpopular at all.

Yes, everyone loves watching endless game of 2 and outs and then punting. A real fun-fest.
Ever since I took up watching NFL more regularly, watching CFL is like getting my teeth pulled. The game, the players, the production quality of TV airings, its all rubbish. I still go to a game or two for some summer entertainment, but by no means is the game the draw at all.

No it wouldn't have. The only way to stop that would have been to totally ban guns and then remove all the guns from people who own them. The Sandyhook shooting was committed with a non-automatic weapon. Would the exact kind of rifle available have changed his willingness to murder a bunch of children? The gun was also stolen from the possession of a relative, who probably would have registered the gun had it been necessary but retained ownership of at least some kind of gun.

That would be fine if convictions were always 100% right. Unfortunately it happens that people are wrongfully convicted of all sorts of things. And it can be even more possible when it is he said vs she said (not trying to downplay rapes at all or suggest most of them are false accusations.)
So I would ammend your statement to people who are convicted of multiple sex crimes.

Deep south Americans aren't a race. They have a race, but aren't a race.

Cool. You want to keep going with this point? I told you it probably wasn't a good example in my first reply. In other words, admitting I was wrong by using it as an example.

I'd say you're just opening a whole can of worms that I'm not going to even pay mind to. You're basically asking about the line between cult and religion and I'm definitely not going to get into that haha.

So lame. Gun control will only make a small dent in the 13,000+ gun deaths and who knows how many gun injuries per year, so...Let's do nothing. Let's sit around and figure out why it's happening, but not even start to think about controlling how its happening. Such a lame argument the pro gun NRA dummies use.

What really happened is that the NFL copied the CFL and college offenses. With the top teams all running some spread sets. They have started to use their tight ends as slots. They pass significantly more. On defense hey have gone to more athletic players at the expense of size.
As a die hard cfl fan I would agree now that the NFL is an exciting game. It used to be almost unwatchable but now with 5000 yard qb seasons being not a rare occurance and qbs being given the green light to run the NFL now might be superior to the CFL in ternlms of excitement. The only thing they have left to fix is the 45 second kneel downs to end the game. The CFL 20 second play clock is better for end game

Neither are Sikhs. So hating on Indians (citizens of India) is OK but hating on Indians that are Sikh is not? Help me draw the line here so I know how to discriminate properly according to your standards.

by conviction i mean irrefutable DNA evidence, or multiple crimes like you say. i would also like to see vastly harsher sentences for those who claim rape falsely

Unpopular Opinion -> I think we should be able to get another 20 years out of the Saddledome with relatively small renovations.

If you mean musically, then definitely. Grohl was far and away the best musician in the band and he was almost solely responsible for tightening their sound up to what it became. Cobain also openly acknowledged that he wasn't even close to being the best guitar player in Nirvana.
As a songwriter though? Grohl's had his moments but nothing that approaches Nirvana at its best. Grohl has often mentioned how he had a backlog of what would become Foo Fighters songs while Nirvana was still going but he was too in awe of Cobain's songwriting to bring them to the table. I think that says a lot about the quality of Cobain's songwriting.

i don't think the Saddledome is in immediate need of replacement, but i'm looking forward to a new arena that is NOT saddle shaped. our 300 level really sucks compared to almost any other arena in the league

As does the mile long lines into the can that run half way across the concourse. Which of course is small compared to the pocketdawg line, bank machine line and skyline deli lines that also run across the concourse.
As does the puny team shop
As does the location, it probably is almost a km to civilization in any direction you walk out of that place
As does the wait time trying to leave the parking lot
As does the quality of the seats that aren't in the club section
Gawd, the more I think about it, just blow that place up.
