Quoted for truth. My thoughts exactly. Although I can watch an entire Stampeders regular season game without any issue, just because CFL action is quicker and the 3 down rule makes each play seem more urgent. Fail at gaining any yards on first down, you need to get 10 on the second down. The NFL game has way more room for error which I absolutely hate. All in all though, outside of hockey, all NA sports are unwatchable and suck hard to participate in.

You would like Iceland, people dress up for everything here.

I can't take a league seriously (CFL) when you get a point for failure.
Hey don't worry that you missed that field goal, here's a point anyway for trying your darnedest and getting that sucker to the back of the end zone.

Isn't the field goal 3 points for failure anyways? Don't worry that you couldn't get a touchdown, you can get half as many points if you kick it through those uprights.

Not only do my blackberry and windows notebooks work way better than my wife's iPhone and mac-book; I think they are more functional and productive.

John Crosbie ruined the East Coast fishery in the late 80's / early 90's by trading Foreign Fishing Quota's for Ontario manufacturing contracts.

This man is regarded as a hero in NL but to me he destroyed a way of life that was prosperous and a full time job for thousands of people.

I think I'll be making the switch back to windows. A macbook is just a pretty picture frame that sort of pretends to be a computer.

Though baseball is boring to watch on TV, a day at a MLB ballpark blows away the live experience at an NHL, NFL or NBA game.

True....but it's more of a compromise. You choose not to try and get it in the end zone, but you receive less points for deciding to kick it rather than run/pass it in. Being rewarded for failing that task should not end up in points. You didn't choose to just kick it really hard and see what happens, you chose to try and kick it through the uprights (which is the whole point of them being there).

More of a result of the game than in the game thing. Think of it more like every time you hit the post you got half a goal or whatever.

Although i'm not a huge fan of the loser point either. You lost, end of story.
