I believe that anyone that makes in the uppermost 2% (recalculate every 5 years) should basically get 0 government benefits and still pay taxes. Helps to control the gaps between the uber wealthy and the poor.

I don't think it is silly. I do think that it should be done away with now that we know about CTE. I have a harder time getting up for a fight now that I know it might be destroying the players' brains.

That's part of it to be sure. But it is also silly. Watching the Leafs game the other night there were two fights back to back involving players just trying to remain relevant, but otherwise they had no impact on the rest of the game.

There was a long recession in the 80's where people couldn't get jobs. People also lost thier homes in the early 80's when the bottom fell out of the housing market. That's the reality of the economy they inherited. Every generation deals with it's ups and downs.

All of the major North American sports besides hockey are GARBAGE to watch. Absolute crap.

- Basketball: Absolutely useless to watch outside of the last 5 minutes. Constant scoring makes it disjointed and takes the fun out it. Court is too small and thus it's too easy to go from offense to defense and vice versa.

- Football: More standing around and doing nothing then actual action. Short throws/runs are extremely lame and often just look like a giant cluster**** on tv. Don't like how it's "turn based"

- Baseball: Are you kidding...
