No I didn't impersonate you, however I did have an account for a few months but was banned recently for "trolling". All the homers over there were absolutely convinced that the Oilers were going to kill the Flames this year, and verbatim I said "maybe you should actually accomplish something more than improving from 30th to 29th before talking smack" and boom I was banned. Pretty sad that you can come on here, talk smack and we laugh it off as the dribble of an immature child, however anybody who doesn't drink the blue koolaid at HF is banned because their feelings get hurt. Little touchy after years in the basement I guess.
Anyways, no way in hell I would want to impersonate you, you seem like a sad individual who gets to feel better about his crappy team by coming here and trying to incite us. However, for whoever did try to impersonate you, hats off.
Who else would be privy to those kinds of info behind the scenes on HF Oil except the mods, myself and the banned user...evidently you have the info and you are very upset about it. I guess like in all cases, the culprit will rear its ugly head sooner or later...You seemed so unsually livid even if we have never "chatted".
BTW, I did not go to the mods about the impersonator. They came to me 'cause I called the fake user a "moron" (after he claimed to be VERVE on CP) and I had to explain myself to the mods. Then they did their own follow up.

I was watching the game live and with the tensions from the disallowed goal, the fact that Yakupov already had a goal called back, it was his second NHL goal, and he scored it with 5 seconds left to tie the defending champs by batting it out of mid-air after (from their view) getting screwed out of a goal. I dunno, looking back to being 18, if I was him I might have done something similar. It was definitely overboard but I'd cut the kid some slack. If he does it again outside of playoff overtime goals then there's an issue IMO.
Oiler players starting to come out saying it was a tad much...I'm sure he has had a talking too. What the youtube generation doesn't understand is how other teams are gonna take this. Edmonton needs all the help they can get to make the playoffs they don't need to motivate opponents.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
I have to say I've been impressed with Yakupov. I thought he'd be invisible in the big man's game, but he makes hard moves to the middle and gets into scoring areas. He isn't afraid to try the things he could do in other leagues and I think a huge part of a young players success is confidence in themselves like that.
I had always thought hockey was supposed to be fun!! What Yakupov did was pure emotion, an 18 year old kid having fun! He brought the house down with Oiler fans having fun! There is nothing wrong with that in my books!! I hope the Flames can recapture the fun of Theo again!
