Can anybody suggest a good power manager?
I'm currently using GO Power Master:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ermaster&hl=en
And while I like that I can shut certain things off based on the time of day (ie) commuting I shut wifi off), I don't really think it's all that great in terms of saving battery life.

I have an s2 running 4.1.2 using Siyah Kernel and Ex Tweaks.
I'm getting about 17h on a charge and that's with moderate use.

I know I'm late to the game on this, but I'm really liking Flipboard.
As far as video players go, I've liked BSPlayer player best on my tablet since it was the first to use hardware acceleration correctly on the Transformer Prime.
And for browsing files, I use ES File Explorer. It just seems to work and I easily browses across my home network.

I'm using Mobi calculator. Running JB, but it shouldn't matter.

Looking for an Android widget that I can have upcoming Flames games display directly on my phone.

You could add the flames to Google Now if you have that.

Like a Boxscore live widget?
Hmmm, don't know if such a thing exists. GoogleNow is a good idea, it's not a widget but one swipe into it will provide the live update card.
TheScore is a horrible channel but they have a great Android Widget. IIRC you can select your favourite team. The widget should display the score, I can't remember exactly.

I think Yahoo Sportacular does it. Just got it so testing now. You just need to add the Flames as a favorite team.

I use Easy Battery Saver. Simple enough. It also shuts things off at certain times of day but you'd be surprised how much battery you can save turning off your data connetion over night. Lots of ways to customize the program. I like it. Certainly has extended my batter life.

I would love scores as well, or even a more comprehensive dashboard, but my main desire is to have the reminder that the game is on and to set the PVR to start. I have been using a calendar up to this point with iOS, but thought their might be a widget for sports teams to show this info.

Google Now or the Score widget will both work for this just be sure to turn off the score notifications so you don't get game updates while you are recording.

Look at the ESPN ScoreCenter widget. I used it all last season - IIRC, I customized it to only show Flames games: showed when the next Flames game was, along wth live scores during the game, all in a smallish widget.
I removed it during the lockout as it used up screen space and battery, and have been meaning to put it back on. Thanks for the reminder.

ESPN ScoreCenter Widget looks like it will do nicely.

Just tested out yahoo sportacular, does all that stuff as well. Widget is nice and small (1x2) and has a nice notification system as well
