And on Ferland, I wasn't very optimistic about him at the start and not a fan of him at all, but I have to say, he really surprised me in some of his short playing time. When NHL resumes and some players go up to play in the NHL I wouldn't be surprised to see him take on a bigger role. He has nice hands for a big man.

In the last 10 Brust has started 6, Taylor 3 and Irving 1.

My guess is that Ward will ride the hot hand and as of right now that is Burst.

I think they said it was a neck injury/whiplash ... they are probably just extra careful with Sven, making sure he's at 100 per cent before he returns. I hope he'll return soon.

The Abbotsford Heat have recalled defenceman Nick Tuzzolino from the Utah Grizzlies
I'm wondering if this is so they can put Kolanos in the line-up everygame and still have enough solid non veteran D-men. I know nothing about Tuzzolino but I assume he is not a veteran in the AHL.
I'm not sure how the AHL schedule games, but I've never heard of a regular weekday game at 11 AM...
But it's no joke, they're playing right now, down 1-0 to Chicago with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.
Most of the AHL teams have at least one "school day" game each season, where they play an early game and have kids from the area schools come to watch the game.
The Heat have theirs on February 5. It's a 10:30am start.
The Heat lost today's game 1-0.
