The Off Topic Forum = The Bad News Forum

Is it just me or is the off topic forum about 75% bad news or negative posts now? Don't get me wrong I still enjoy reading but Christ it's getting depressing when every other post is about suicide or humans doing some kind of harm to each other. Maybe it's because posts on the tech and food/entertainment sections used to dilute the subject matter, maybe it's the post lockout blues, I don't know but it's just something I noticed and was wondering if anyone else did too.

You'll be happy to know I ran 10 miles this morning, took some pics of my dogs and, just before seeing this post, decided to take the dogs out to the mountains for some hiking.

The thing is, through eternity, its always the majority of the public that really decides what's on the front page through where they take their money.

Pictures of puppy dogs, laughing children, boobs, sex scandals, murder and mayhem. That's what sells.
