If by chance that both Daryl and Merle escape I hope the writers have Glen end Merle for good this time. Chop his bayonet arm off and use it as a spear on a mop handle. for Zombie killing.

If he's dead, damn. The Walking Dead takes their token black characters seriously. One at a time please, one at a time.
thats funny but does Michonne not count in the head count...

Maggie shot him in the head so he wouldn't turn so i'm pretty sure he is dead.

I dunno, for building up the attack on Woodbury it didn't really hold up well. That's all.
That is my main problem with it. At the end of the episode previous they were just outside the fence. So you figured the build up was for them to breach the town the next episode and not just goku teleport in.

There's a lot of stuff to cover in an hour, watching 15 minutes of characters climbing a wall and scurrying through allies doesn't appeal to me personally. Even if they did show them getting in people would be finding holes in that too.

"Why wasn't that area better guarded?

"Why didn't they make giant stilts from walker parts and just step over the wall?"

As for the gunfight...meh. I expected more from the Army ambush than the hillbillies. I know when I am playing FPSs and someone lays down smoke it's tuff and I just fire wildly into the smoke. If it's dark and smokey it's worse...

Daryl was laying down cover fire so the others could get away. The guy providing cover always gets killed or captured.

The only thing that I didn't like was Andrea had a very detailed description of Oscar but didn't hit him? She is (in print) the absolute best shot, if she got that good of a look he should've been killed by her.

Man shoots girlfriend over Walking Dead virus theory.

She's awake. It's just a matter of determining if she's zombified at this point I figure.

First thing I noticed about Tyrese in that episode is he voice acted Coach from Left For Dead 2, which is pretty cool.

That was him too, but as someone posted earlier, for the The Wire fans, he's always going to be Cutty from the cut.

As soon as they brought Tyrese I was hoping that the prisoner black guy would survive, but nope.

Can't have more than 1 black guy.

Look no further than Adrea's "teacher". If that goof is the best of the best then they got a bunch of morons defending the town

Rick's group has way more fire arm training and practice in tense situations than the entire town combined

IDK, the Woodbury 'dirty work' group was able to take out an army camp, while they were holding their guns

How many of that group would have been stationed at different points throughout the town, though?

At most, you would have a 1/4 of the 'skilled force' at one location, and that is assuming there is only 4 routes out of town, which is unlikely. Probably looking at 8-16 routes minimum that needed manning, given the size of main street that we have seen.

Were any of that skilled group among those who were killed when they went out looking for Michonne?

They sneaked around in the bush, surrounded them and then ambushed them with full-auto's in broad daylight when they were distracted. The army group had zero time to react

I think 2 of the 3 killed were part of the skilled group

Watching season 1 on netflix and in the first scene we see D.Dixon it took like five guys multiple blows to kill one walker.

Also Glen is kind of a dork and Daryl is an ass. How times have changed.

Oh and T-Dog has lines, and there are a bunch of people walking around in the back ground at the first camp.

Pretty much all dead now. LOL, there are people in the back ground that never had a single line. Never noticed them before.

The walkers are decaying, albeit at a pretty slow rate, so it makes sense that they were more resilient in the beginning.
