Looks like Latos is throwing a lot of fastballs so he doesn't want to go deep into counts. Pitching to contact or strikeout.

He's doing quite well with the latter

Buster Posey comes up clutch with a grand slam in the 5th for the Giants. I love this kid, incredible hitter. Giants up 6-0 with Cain on the mound.

Cain opened the door for Cincy with the hit batter. I think SF needs a couple of more runs in this small ball park.

Ludwick HR makes it 6-3. It's slipping away. Time to pull Cain? 95 pitches - two on. none out.

Big double play - strike out and throw out at third.

Bochy is taking out Cain. Kontos in. Three out.

Affeldt in for bottom of the 7th.

I know these announcers love to invent their own storylines, but they need to lay off Hanigan. The ball was outside

Pence stranded at third. Affeldt was hit by the ball in the dug-out, and may not be coming back into the game.

Lopez got the lefty. Casilla coming in to face three right-handers.

Santiago Casilla - torturing Giants fans since the all-star break.

Romo in, gets last out in 8th on great catch by Pagan.

You think you are excited for a Giants victory in Game 5 of the NLDS? Well, you've got nothing on Rob Schneider. The former SNL cast member is a die-hard Giants fan and can't even fall asleep, he is that excited.

It's either that or he really needs to cut down on the coffee.

Romo falling apart. One out, then a walk and two hits. 6-4.

Romo guts it out. Excruciating.

A very good team is going home.

Giants with a great comeback. Shame we didn't get to see a better pitching matchup for game 5.

You're right Troutman, those late innings were extremely tough to watch as a Giants fan, especially the Bruce at-bat.

Surprised to see so many Tiger fans bitching on social media about how Wednesday's loss messed up Verlander's chance to lead off in the next round. Guys, you are getting just a bit ahead of yourselves.

A 14 pitch at bat - what else are you hiding?

He couldn't hit the other stuff no reason to go right down the middle.

Keep growing him junk your only in for an inning.

You know he has the second most career postseason home runs in the blood?

There goes ARod, choking again. How did Girardi not go to Ibanez there?

They would have intentionally walked Ibanez
