Having looked at some of the trades people are making with each other, how is this not fair? I may have openly ripped the one Chicago trade apart, but there have been 5-6 more trades where people are getting absolutely hosed in comparison

That's why I asked. I didn't figure he'd be 4.5, personally. I think something you have to keep in mind is it's not like we're going to be putting in 5+ seasons of GM connected. So while prospects are valuable, they're not necessarily super valuable in a league like this. Upon writing this I imagine you meant EA's defined value.

It isn't like I said it was a rip off trade. I didn't really like the Chicago trade either, I personally think it pales in comparison to the Thomas, Campbell trade between NYI and CBJ, but I didn't see anyone gripe about it, so maybe I'm the crazy one. I can't think of any other trades of people getting hosed.

Can I still have Briere?

Man. Annoying to know that if I could have played Philly that I could have avoided Bailey and Orlov getting injured. I'm also not sure if I have won a single friggin game through simming.

When is it advancing on Sunday? Like midnight? I still have 4 games to play and no one will get back to me on when they can play.

Edit: I've played two and will probably play the other two on Sunday (pending if their on).

I still think 4 days for 6-7 games is too little time.

Yeah... I still have 4 games left. Hopefully the league doesn't advance before I get to play at least a couple. I'm pretty nervous about letting that many games sim, really don't want to lose a bunch of guys.

Seems only fitting. Couldn't get Winnipeg to play over the weekend, so my one simmed game and Bailey gets injured.. again.

Just going thru the league listings and noticed something pretty unsettling.....how are there so many guys with 30-60% DNF vs the CPU??? Are you guys quitting if you're losing or not scoring enough points/stats and restarting? There is no other explanation for it and I don't think it should be tolerated at all. I understand the occasional internet disconnection or whatever but 30-60% is ridiculous.

We all know the CPU is unfair sometimes but gotta live with it...I'm a decent player (ranked in top 500-1000 online vs mode with almost 0%DNF for the better part of the last few years of the game) and still have lost a couple to the cpu due to 'computer AI advantage' but have not restarted once.

I would say it's something that needs to be looked into by the Commissioner for sure.

I agree, good observation that's not fair at all. Anything over 30 percent is a little sketchy.

Well first of all EA's DNF doesn't work properly. Even if you've finished every game you've played it seems to somehow decide you have DNF%age, has been that way all year. I had DNF in my other league before I'd even played a game.

Second, it seems to count games where you sim, and then intervene before the sim is finished, as DNF. I do that every game I play against the CPU, depending on who scores first.

I had constant problems in my game against Nashville, well, two or three times. No cheating necessary here.

Good to know about the DNF thing...was just commenting on what I noticed. Hopefully the others are in the same situations as you guys and not using it to boost stats or wins.

Crap, I can't beat Chicago for the life of me. Outshoot, outhit, out possess... Quick is just too damn good, you have to have an open net or a deflection to get one past him. What a beast.
