Hoping to end the goaltending woes, GM Hades had pulled the trigger to acquire veteran goaltender Tim Thomas. However, after two underwhelming games in which Thomas has posted a .816 SV% and 4.50 GAA in two losses, it seems that at least for now the Blue Jackets goaltending woes will continue. Not helping matters, David Krecji and newly acquired Brian Campbell are nursing injuries, the latter forced to sit out a week or so. Columbus hosts a western conference worst 3-10-1, and questions are being asked if the "rebuilding" team needs more of a shake up.

This game is effing ######ed.

First time we sim forward I have 2 games to play. Somewhere in those two games, my #3 defenseman goes out for 18 games with an injury.

Second time we sim forward, I have 3 games left. So my #1 d-man gets a concussion, and my #4 guy gets a groin injury.

Is this bull#### going to happen EVERY GODDAMN TIME we sim a period forward? Because it's crap. Players do not get injured this much. We are two sims in and half of my top 6 is gone. EA are idiots.

See? It's ridiculous. EA seems to think that the NHL is full of people with calcium deficiency the rate ligaments and bones go in this. It's crap. And the worst part is it only happens when you have to sim games - if people were around to actually PLAY their games, it wouldn't happen. I have 0 injuries so far in human games.

That said I still have no interest in playing CPU games, the computer is much easier on the superstar difficulty but it's still ####ing cheap. Their goals as opposed to my guys missing open nets from 3 feet, I just don't want to bother with. Have basically given up on HUT.

Guys, unfortunately I have to back out of the league.

I was hired as the Heat correspondent for the UFV Cascade newspaper and my time will be heavily involved in that.

Sorry everyone.

Sucks that you're leaving, but that's big news, congratulations.

I am also backing out of the league. I have lots of school work, and just don't have much time. It was fun though.

Sigh... you just knew this was going to happen.

But at least you guys are letting us know. The annoying part is the other half dozen who will just disappear into the wilderness never to be heard from again.

Hi guys, please remove me from the league. I sent a message to FlyingDonutz through the league last week to remove me but maybe he didn't get it.

I'm leaving because it requires more of my time that I expected and the menus suck ass.

Can we change the AI difficulty to what the PS3 league has which is All-Star and Normal.

Playing the AI on superstar is no fun at all. They hit like a cement truck going 150mph, they are near impossible to knock off the puck, your players have the hockey sense of a lamp post.

It's getting ridiculous playing the CPU.

Edit: This isn't even including the massive amounts of garbage interference the computer gets away with literally every 3 seconds of game play. EA seems to think we're in pre-lock out hockey when it comes to holding and interference.

Not one person on here would set their team to computer eligible if we set the difficulty to all-star. That would be a guaranteed loss. Just leave it. If you can't beat the computer just let the game sim.

Though don't ACTUALLY sim the game. If you watch it sim rather than waiting for the auto-sim when the period advances, you will lose a disproportionate amount of the time and for whatever reason your first line will never score. I've tested it, and these were my observations.

I really do not get how this wasn't tested. Everyone gets hurt. Injured in my other league, where I'm Edmonton: Eberle, Gagne, Pajaarvi, Hartikainen, Dubnyk, now Hall out 34 games. Sim a game, lose a roster player. It's a joke.
