Marge eats two grapes in the supermarket
Lisa: Mom, what are you doing?
Marge: What, what do you mean?
Lisa: Don't you remember the eighth commandment?
Marge: Oh, of course. It's thou shalt not um not covet, um,
graven images, something about covet...
Lisa: THOU SHALT NOT STEAL!!!
Later at the checkout:
Employee: Anything else?
Marge: Yes I ate two grapes. Please charge me for them.
Employee: 2 grapes???? Who cares.
Marge: Please...just charge me for them.
Employee (annoyed talking into microphone): "Yeah, I need a price check on two grapes. Yeah, you heard me Phil...two measly, stinkin' grapes.

You should report him anyways just from the germs he's putting into the bins every time he is reaching in. Whats wrong with people?

You shop at Superstore and you're worried about germs in the bulk bin? That entire store is disgusting.

I never buy bulk. Is it cheaper to buy M&Ms from the bulk bins as opposed to M&M's from the regular packaging?

Yes it is and you don't have to pay extra for everyone's germs/fecal matter/snot.

Some but not all, my recollection is there are still "bins", but that is from me looking while walking by, I stay away from that area.

I might be a terrible person. If something is missed by the cashier and I notice it after the fact I can't see myself ever giving it back. As a personal belief I don't feel Karma is a thing, so that would never weigh into my decision. If it directly impacted the individual I would behave differently (for instance, a waiter/waitress may have to personally cover an incorrect bill out of his/her own pocket). If the cashier was made to reimburse their mistakes then I'd absolutely do the right thing, but the system isn't designed for that at all.
If somebody accidentally steals a bag of rice, it's never going to be tracked back to the day, week or month let alone the cashier that was on shift.
As for what the coworker is doing, it is wrong, but it's also not creating too much of a ripple in a way that it'll impact anybody else's life. The risk is solely on her. If she's prepared to deal with the consequences of getting caught, then I say it's her own business.

After reading the first two pages I'm a little bit disgusted at our CP members. I stopped reading after that.
All the glib answers make it appear that the vast majority see nothing wrong with what she's doing.
Sad.
And we wonder why society today is generally so f'd up.

Didn't say that but one could assume that CP is generally reflective of society. We have a large membership and our members come from all walks of life.

I don't think that is what Rerun is saying at all.
It is disappointing to see how some people have no problem to knowingly cheating someone.

I think most would agree that what she's doing is "wrong" and wouldn't condone it.
It's the fact that the op felt compelled to share these danny ocean escapades thats a little ridiculous. She is literally stealing pennies from a multi-billion dollar company. Is it wrong? yeah. Is it really stupid and immature? very much so. Is it worth telling the world about? I don't think it is...

I really wish the OP had answered my question about her stealing from Superstore or the Food Bank.
