Another good day for Canada at these Olympics! Very happy for Brent Hayden, that was a great interview. He seemed so happy!

That first leg killed them, other than that they were pretty even with the French.

Yeah, given how young this team is, it's a good result. Hopefully most of the team is still around in four years.

It looked good in the 3rd leg but from 500-600m seemed slow.

I've been informed (again) that there's women's handball on.

Russia vs Croatia

Anyone see the Iranian boxer just get tossed? Can't decide if I agree with it or not... yeah he was holding and got a warning, but that was pretty quick, first 30 seconds or so of the second round. I would have just kept deducting him points every time he held.

edit: and a fighter doesn't show in the next fight. Man, I'd be pissed if I had paid for tickets to that.

At least make throwing the game somewhat convincing, that was hillarious how obvious they were making it. The best in the world suddenly is playing like what I would imagine Ozzy Osburne would be like at badminton. I had to see this for myself, glad they all got kicked out of the Olympics.

As Girlysports says they should ban them for life for being stoopid.

First time I saw the video and that was just ridiculous. I can't believe they weren't at least smart enough to throw it while still trying.

Badminton can be a quick game, not hard to just keep it close and then blow a couple points close to the end of the game.

The video is one of the most disgusting sporting videos I have ever seen.

The format may be messed up but it's the Olympics.. my god. Play.

OK, so here is a brief summary of my Olympic experience so far.

This is the view I had for the men's road race with the police cars coming down the road just before the peloton:

This is the view of the riders as they went by:

This is what the Maple Leaf pub looked like the other night. I had a good time and got quite drunk.

This is the view from my seat for weightlifting. When I got the tickets I wasn't sure what i would think of the event, but it ended up being very enjoyable and a sport that i will try and follow and definitely watch in future olympics. Lots of drama and a very good spectator sport.

This is the view of Wembley walking up from Wembley Park tube station:

This is the view from my 'box seat' at half time (notice the turf control people):

The game was great, especially for a nil-nil draw. For the first bit Korea was happy to let Gabon control the ball and counter attack. Bothe teams had many chances but couldn't convert. There were lots of Korean supporters and some English and Aussies with Gabon flags. Overall it was a good experience as I don't know if i will ever be able to afford to go to another game at Wembley, but they (stadium workers) were very disorganized, the tickets didn't match up with the stadium's actual seating and the ushers were unhelpful. I think most people sitting around me were upset, but I just took it for what it was.

Hope you enjoy the photos, sorry the quality is poor. I am looking forward to ditching the crappy iPhone knock-off. Will try and get some good shots tomorrow from the beach volleyball.

Bellamy vs Suarez? Lol

Is there two bigger idiots/worse captains than these two jackasses?

So the, little dwarf in the row boat gets a Silver medal too?

That's adorable, I thought they were considered coaches. Why not call it the men's nine then?
