I bought it as well, mostly for Day Z. I had some kind of free version of ARMA II in the past, and had played through most of the campaign with friends in coop mode. Day Z requires Combined Operations though. I hoped it would finally go on sale.

How do you install the games without using the GameStop app?

Since I'm on a bit of a turn-based strategy RPG binge, Steam has the Age of Wonders trilogy on sale for $12 right now. Even the original, from way back in '99, still stands up really well with its mechanics. An RPG with turn-based strategy and empire building? Yes, please.

Sorry I should have been more clear. You still need the application to download and install but after that you do not need to launch from it as it downloads locally and you can create shortcuts or whatever you like.

Just a reminder that today is the last day of the sale. Search Steam for any random games you might be interested in....there's a ton of games on sale that don't make the front page.

I've voted every day, but I suspect I might get screwed because of the time difference. It was already the next day here when I first voted.

I got all of them. I would imagine it doesn't go by days of the week, but by "sale days" such as Day 1, etc. But who knows.
Maybe I'm just spoiled after the Holiday Sale and its in-game achievements and free gifts, but this sale seemed a little boring.

I haven't got the 'vote every day' task. There's no way I didn't vote every day because I can't see how I could have possibly missed two votes in a row. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow because the achivements started at 2am on the 13th here. But I guess there are no prices anyway.

Well I think I am done now. I ended up getting:
 Batman Arkham City
 Crysis Maximum Edition
 Dead Island
 Payday the Heist
 Rage
 Red Orchestra 2
 Shogun 2 Total War Collection
 The Witcher Enhanced Edition
 The Binding of Isaac
 Hard Reset
 Jade Empire

That will hold me over for some time. This sale just seemed to go on forever...

You aren't.

Now if only if one of my friends posted a screenshot so I could comment on it.

While I was ultimately disappointed with Bastion, the game has a superb soundtrack. One of the best I've seen in years.

I got the King of the Fort and Pillar of Community badges... but I doubt they "do" anything (like the Golden Potato did) and that makes me sad. The Holliday Sale 2011 and even the 2011 summer sale were so much better (free games!)
