First and 2nd round picks. Nothing left to acquire Howard.

Have you seen the roster the Suns are going with next season? That team isn't going to even sniff the playoffs for 4 years.

Bynum world peace for Richardson and Howard would be too bad. Lakers need some outside shooting.

I don't think the Lakers go after Howard at all. They've got two great leaders in that room now and a good enough team to win it. Wouldn't go near Howard.

It has to be said again: Andrew Bynum is less mature, especially on the court, than Dwight Howard. Dwight's been a baby and a clown with his antics trying to get traded, but he's never done some of the idiotic moves Bynum did and continues to do. But its not going to happen, Kobe said to Dwight he'd be option 3 before they got Steve Nash, now he'll be option 4. It's looking like Brooklyn or maybe Houston or someone else who wants him as a rental for next year.

Howard would be a idiot to pass on Kobe and the lakers. Plus Nash and Kobe have 3 years left, it's Howard's team after that and Gasol would be a 3rd option with Kobe and Howard as 1 and 2 Nash will facilitate the offense.

I forget where, but saw that Nash was trying to convince Grant Hill to join him there. Late 90's version, AKA "Grant Hill Drinks Sprite", I can see why you would want him to bring him along, but I can't see the Lakers going out of their way to bring him in now.

Yeah but Bynum is still pretty young. I think he will mature eventually, that's far from a lock though. I just hope they keep Howard away from the Nets.

Well that sucks I wanted to see Nash win a ring if he didn't go to TO.
I guess LA works for his movie aspirations but will suck to see him trying to get the ball from the Rapist so that he can actually do what he does best.

I think now that the Lakers have done this, if you're Chicago you gotta maybe look to get into the Dwight chase. Perhaps match the Asik deal and trade him, Deng, Gibson and picks for Howard and Turkoglu. A frontline of Howard and Noah would be a defensive behemoth.

It's going to be interesting to see who runs the floor in LA now. Nash has been doing it for years, but obviously Kobe takes on that role with the Lakers. I'd imagine they'll have Nash come off the bench every so often to split them up. Going to be interesting to witness either way.

Yeah the ball started in Kobe's hands for 61% of Lakers possessions last year. Not sure Mike Brown is the ideal coach here haha. Lakers will be a must watch on League Pass this year though.

Goran Dragic is headed back to Phoenix as he has agreed to a four year deal worth $34M. Houston decided that was "too rich" and let him go.

Wife beater AKA Jason Kidd is closing to resigning with the Dallas Mavericks. Dwain Price the beat writer for the Dallas Mavericks wrote on twitter early this morning that Jason Kidd told him the deal should be done in two days. Also wrote that's coming straight from his mouth.

How great would this Laker team have been....in 2006? After the Lakers sign Grant Hill, they might as well bring back Fisher too in their attempt to field the oldest team ever.

Hill will come off the bench and be used sparingly. This is still a going to be one hell of a team, especially if Andrew Bynum can play how he is capable of.

I was more pointing out how in 2006 this team would be a stone cold lock to win the title; in 2012 they aren't a lock for much more than the 2nd round of the Western Conference Playoffs. Imagine how good that team would be, Kobe, Nash and Gasol all in their primes? Yikes.

They should have found a way to get this deal done earlier, and given the Rockets this years pick since they possibly wasted it anyway.
