Two artists I'm excited about meeting and hopefully signing or sketching something:

Kate Beaton

3 of my buddies from Edmonton are coming down, so if you smell oilers stank, its likely them.

I sadly have a volleyball tournament both days so I wont be able to embrace the intoxicating aroma that is Hayden

Oh wow, I'm not really a comic book guy and don't really care about those artists but Kate Beaton is definitely someone I'm a huge fan of! That's cool.

I'm not an autograph guy to begin with but that seems a bit high.

I know a guy who is going to shell out $1000+ to get autographed photo sessions with Stan Lee and the cast of TNG.

I think it's fairly standard - and getting them all at once is pretty sweet for those looking for it.

I'm probably not going to the expo this year - having been to SDCC makes the one here kinda boring. Don't get me wrong though, the STNG things would be kinda neat if you all all in for it (VIP passes, tickets to the reunion, photos and autos with them.)

Debating going down with the wife and toddler on Sunday morning, I've been the last couple of years but I am assuming it could be a complete gong show this year with the lineup of guests they have. What does CP think? Should we still go for it?

I see that they have all the BMO centre halls this year, that alone should make it not as crowded as years past.

Just wanted to be clear on something - I can go to the Star Trek NG reunion without buying a general admission to Comic-Con? Or do I have to buy general admission?

Just asking and too lazy to look it up.

You can go to the TNG reunion without going to the actual Expo.

Pretty sure it's sold out though. Unless they're releasing more tickets.

Go for it. It will be busy this year but they do a good job of spreading the crowd around. Usually the bulk of people are around the autograph tables, waiting in lines, in the BMO halls or at the corral. You will be wading through people but I've taken my kids every year and it's never been an issue. The slower day seems to be Sunday and it helps to avoid the morning rush, especially on Saturday.

Another question. If we do go what shirt should I wear:

-Super Mario Bros.
-1-Up Mushroom
-Bullet Bob
-Green Eggs and Ham (in Italian)
-Boba Fett
-Dragonball Z
-Bender
-Gameboy Pokemon poke-ball selection with "Which?" written above the scene

How do I have this many acceptable shirts for the event? My sisters always seem to find things like this for me for birthdays.

Going down Saturday for autographs and gawking, Sunday for merch. Quite excited, as is the lady-friend, as she enjoys the geek arts also.

The TNG reunion is a separate ticketmaster event at the Corral. It has nothing to do with Expo admission.

It's sold out but Blackarcher101 is selling one ticket.

I've never been on Friday before. Can I do all my shopping then? Will all the vendors be set up? I'd prefer to do that and then spend Sat and Sunday just checking various things out.

I thought the event was sold-out?

They may still be looking for volunteers, however.

The actual Expo tickets are always being sold and you can even buy at the door. The TNG evening event is sold out though.
