Romero works around that one out double. 2 more innings to go and it's 3 in a row for the Jays

Lawrie finally steals home (albeit via a double steal)

Impartial baseball fans - does Lawrie have any shot at winning a gold glove?

May not be considered impartial by some here but Gold Glove is often awarded the year after a big year in my view.
There is a ton of hype about him this year though but I would say better chance next year and beyond.

He still has to work on getting the ball out of his glove and a few other things defensively but he's well above where people thought he would be. Minus today, this teams defense has been great. Rasmus is a huge reason for that

Gold Gloves are given more for reputation than for a good year. So no, not a chance.

Arencibia continuing to improve game in and game out. Only two K's in his last 14 ABs and he got a walk today, which is good for JPA! WOO! Baby steps!

JPA was going to be fine, and so will most of the Jays hitters. Great video

He'll certainly come around, I guess I just take issue with his "fine".
An OBP under .300 (his rookie season) doesn't cut it from an average defensive catcher.

Couldn't agree more, I meant fine as in he still can hit for power and was not going to keep hitting under .100, he will at the very worst match last years number (which were pretty ugly when you consider it, although it was his rookie season as a catcher in the major leagues)

Johnson gives the Jays a 1st inning run on the road. We have not had many of those this year. Nice homer

Morrrow has given up 7 HR's this season. Just getting killed by the long ball
