I'm really looking forward to that game, I figured this was the best-case scenario for the Jays - a guy that really has no business being in the Show yet forces his way onto the roster (with plenty of other options available).

You have the full list of starters? I don't see it on mlb.com yet.

I think Drabek goes in the first game against Hochevar, Hutchison VS Mendoza, and Romero V Duffy

It's time for the bats to heat up. Both pitching and offence for this team has been terribly inconsistent so far. I hope that Drabek continues to shut his critics with another solid outing. Let's go Blue Jays!

Also, I really am starting to regret the Mike Napoli for Fat Francisco trade. He's lighting the lamp again this year after a career year last season.

I'm excited to see Drabek pitch again........he's surprised me with his composure so far this season, hope to see it continue again tonight.

You're right about the inconsistency. Slow start from Bautista, shakey bullpen and bad starts from Morrow have been a surprise. You're right about Drabek though, he's been good, and still a fairly unfinished product. Jesus I hope that last night was a sign that Arencibia is coming into some sort of respectable MLB hitter form.

Lawrie is the best player on this team right now. Rasmus is continuing to heat up too which is nice.

Also exciting news that Hutchison is coming up.

Thames batting 6th again tonight ahead of Lawrie. I completely disagree with this given the way Thames is swinging right now. He's the easiest out in the lineup

Hopefully the Jays bats start returning to their norms. It seems like everyone is in a slump at the same time. If the hitting picks up, and the starters can keep performing well, then we should be alright.

Considering our competition thus far, the fact we're around .500 with the hitting we've been getting is actually an accomplishment.

Thames has looked completely lost at the plate this year. He better get it going soon because Snider is playing very well in Vegas.

One mistake for Hutch in the first, but as advertised, his fastball command is impressive. If he can develop his off-speed stuff a little more then he could have a lot of success at this level.
