As are the Atlanta Braves......
70 wins seems about right for a bunch of underachieving losers, 2 freaking runs in 2 games against a very lowly Mets team is downright pathetic.

Five earned runs in his first game in 5.1 innings. That will happen. He also had 7 Ks and only 1 BB. He was sharp after the first inning.
Nice to see the Giants score 8 runs in the first two games - the offence is better, and the pitching is still great.

It's painful to watch that Twins offense again this season.

It's really frustrating when your team only scores 5 runs in three games against Baltimore, and none of them have been scored before the 7th inning. I just hope Morneau returns to his normal self this year as DH.

Who would have thought...
Zito throws a shutout at Coors Field and Yu struggled.

The Texas Rangers and Ian Kinsler have agreed to a five year contract extension that will guarantee the second baseman $75 million, including a $5 million buyout if an option for a sixth year isn’t picked up by the team. The deal replaces the $10 million club option that the Rangers had for 2013, and will keep Kinsler in Texas until 2017 and possibly 2018

According to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com, the Indians have agreed to a multi-year contract extension with Carlos Santana. An official announcement is expected tomorrow.
Exact terms aren’t yet known, but the deal likely covers his arbitration seasons and possibly his first year of free agency. Santana is currently under team control through 2016.

I sure like what the Indians are doing right now - Cabrera/Santana are going to be big players for many years to come.

Thinking if I pick up a new one this summer of getting Holland who also is in a long term contract

Bizarro World - Lincecum, Cain and Bumgarner are winless, Zito throws a complete game, and the Giants are scoring tons of runs.

Good deal for the Reds - Phillips deserved a long term commitment as well. Happy for the Reds' fans as well, they deserve a winning product on the field.

Tigers win another game against TB today. It's exciting seeing Fielder get off to a hot start after I wasn't completely thrilled with the signing (term and $$).

I understand that Ozzie's comments weren't the smartest thing to say given his market, but how the hell is that suspension worthy? It's his political view of Castro. Stupid politics.

Rays get to Verlander in the 9th after he was on fire. 2-2 Rays Vs Tigers. Two of the best in the AL East
