Doesn't the ball travel farther in the warm air? Maybe not as much at sea level.

Warm air is less dense than cool air, so yes. Doesn't matter if it's at sea level or higher. But air is also less dense higher in the atmosphere because there is less air above it to weigh it down and increase the air pressure. So short answer, both temperature and altitude have an impact on air density.
As for Miami's park, I do like it, although I feel there are some nicer 'modern' stadiums, like Chase Field & Miller Park. I wouldn't have chosen that hideous lime green they used for the outfield wall and the bullpens.
The uniforms and logo I thought were terrible at first, but I guess they could've done a lot worse. They're ok I guess. Still prefer the old Marlins logo and colours.

Shaw carries WGN so I get to watch Strasburg pitch against the Cubs.. Which is awesome.

Wouldn't humidity also play a role? I figure the air in Miami would be humid.

Yup, it also makes the air less dense (even though it 'feels' heavier).

21 innings now today and not one single run! Who's gonna break the goose egg?
Edit: David Wright singles to bring in the days first run!

Colby Lewis 6 strong giving up 2 and striking out 9, Ogando struck out the side in 7, Adams gave way to Nathan to close it out. Solid game by the Rangers pitching staff.
Kinsler lead the way offensively with a lead-off double (brought home by Hamilton) and a solo shot. Michael Young got the game winning RBI (drove home Hamilton).
I'm not going to bog this thread down over the season with my Rangers updates, but it's opening day, and they're off to a good start

Rivera blows the save and the Rays come back to win. Nice to see the Sox and Yankees both lose on walk offs to start the season.

I really like Tim Lincecum but he likes a damn girl with that long hair.
Paul Goldschmidt sure has Tim Lincecum figured, of his 9 career HR's, 3 have come off Tim Lincecum.

I love the top 3 of that Giants rotations, they're scary good going forward.
Also, there's nothing better on this earth then listening to Vin Scully call a baseball game.

Lincecum is a fantastic pitcher. He looks like a skateboarder with his slight build and image. His stride length is probably very near or at 100% to his height giving him lots of velocity and saving his arm at the same time. Given his slight frame which is smaller than the normal dimensions of a power pitcher, Lincecum's effective use of mechanics propels him to keep pitching without any stress injuries.

Emily Jones of Fox Sportsnet Southwest makes me glad I didn't buy mlb.tv
Oh my God she's bad, easy interviews with players are botched, she'll trip over her word merely repeating what the play by play guys just said, when hear her name is cringe.
Hopefully it's just opening series jitters

Jays bullpen certainly stacks up well right now against the rest of the AL East.
Phillies should be able to tread water till they get Howard and Utley back, but that's an ugly offense right now.
