So OLED TV's will likely be hitting stores this year, and the very latest next year. OLED is something a buddy of mine who's a massive nerd was going on and on about a few years ago. Basically it's a huge step forward from LCD/LED in terms of quality, but in terms of what's
really exciting is how thin it is and the fact that it's flexible. As in you can roll it up. For instance:
this is the kind of thing can be the 1st stages to not using paper anymore, and be as impacting on daily life and TV and the radio were. At least that's what I would think looking at that stuff.
The first TV's will be incredibly expensive,
this news article says as much as 10,000 pounds!
