The Sklar Brothers Tebow takes the snap at the 55 yard line. #thingssuwillhearnextfootballseason #cfl
TiCats have his negotiating rights. I wonder if Smilin' Hank is worried?

I believe that Tebow would be in a bad way to play in the CFL. he still has brutal mechanics and cant throw the deep ball....and now he has to navigate an extra DB?
Yes he could run around etc, but that is not what wins in Canada....throwing the ball around and a balanced running game is what is successful.
As for any debate that Denver has done Tebow "wrong" somehow....its laughable. Its pro sports where every player involved has to look over their shoulder every year if there is someone better available. Beyond that, although tebow won a few games last year, he was a horrible pro football QB, and by any measure statistically was one of the worst...period.

The same Damon Allen with over 72,000 passing yards? I doubt it.
As a passing QB his skills were average to slightly above average. His longevity is what helped him amass such ridiculous numbers. I was more or less comparing Tebow's skill set to that of Allen's. I'm not going to guess if Tebow would make a decent CFL QB, but his skills do somewhat match Damon Allen's.

If Denver has done Tebow wrong, wtf has Indy done to Manning? Tebow has kneeled, fluked and relied on his defence into quasi-legitimacy. Manning might be one of the best 3-5 QBs of all time... and he was cut by a team that may not be in Indy without him.
It's about winning a Superbowl, followed closely by building a team to win multiple Superbowls. Tebow is a gimmick, at best. Good luck in Jacksonville or Hamilton Tim.
If 'Meco's body can hold up then the Eagles got themselves a heck of a player. Ryans is a great leader, a great football player, and and even better person. The big concern is with his Achilles injury, and to a lesser extent his elbow. He never quite returned to full speed last year, although he showed some glimpses down the stretch and into playoffs.
It makes sense from a Texans' perspective too, as Ryans had been surpassed by Cushing on the depth chart and had become a 2 down player. The Eagles' 4-3 is more more suited to Ryans' game. Ryans is also owed a lot of money, and the Texans are pushed up against the cap with free agency looming next off-season for the likes of Cushing, Barwin and Duane Brown, who will all get a huge raise.
I have loved watching Ryans in a Texans' uniform for the past several years and I hope he does well in Philly.

Greatest defensive player in Texans history. Sad day.
A Tebow vs. Sanchez QB battle would be a good old fashioned suck off. And not in the Santorum definition of the word.
Just because it's the Jets I for one need to see this happen. Debacle of monumental proportions comes to mind.
Has anyone ever seen the episode of South Park where Eric Cartman can't help but laugh at the midget? That would be my reaction every time one of the two lines up at center.
Pretty happy with the Ryans pick up by the Eagles. A true middle linebacker was at the top of my list. Want some depth at linebacker and safety but I like this offseason much better than last years.
The offense looks pretty much set so it is just depth now. Interesting to see if the draft a QB in the early parts of the draft, 3rd 4th rounder?
