1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 32.
He didn't single handidly get the Broncos into the playoffs. Stop with that non sense.
Unfortunately this is just a message forum, so there is no way for me to put my money where my mouth is. I have made some ridiculously far fetched bets and been on the winning side, this isn't even close to my worst.
In the last 20 years the worst QB's to win a Superbowl would be Dilfer and Johnson. Johnson wasn't even that bad of a QB. Both players could throw the damn ball. Tebow can't. He will never succeed as a starting QB.
Feel free to bump this thread if he manages to do it, and point out the egg on my face. I'll happily point out how wrong I was. I'll try to remember to bump this thread in 3 years when Tebow has resigned himself to playing another position or he is just a backup QB, that comes in for set plays.

Smith apparently patched things up with Condon who spoke with Miami along with Alex.
But Manningham left San Fran without a contract and later signed, so until there is a signature anything can happen.
The 49ers also held/are holding tryouts for about 40 free agents.

Thank you Jeff Ireland, obviously there is something wrong with the front office. If it is Jeff Ireland Ross needs to step up and fire him and get a real GM. Miami is now the new Detroit Lions of the NFL.

So Oilfan, if the Colts and Broncos play each other this season who will you be cheering for? Do your loyalties lie to the team, or to the player?

great move for the Broncos
Manning may never actually be good again, he may go out after 1 hit
but this was their get out of tebow card, only way Elway was selling it to the fanbase was a move like this
now even if Manning fails its a plus because they can build around a real QB

I can't wait to just watch Peyton to play the game again. Just a chance to say goodbye, to go out on his own terms. He's got something to prove, this guy is gonna be motivated beyond belief. Someone on this thread called Tebow's work ethic second to none....well it's second to Peyton Manning's. Great day for the NFL and for Broncos fans.
I've always been a Colts fan and will remain so. But the Broncos have become my 2nd favorite team for the next season.

Easy question. Team (Colts will always be my #1). I was a Colts fan before Manning was there (when Harbaugh was QB).
They don't play each other in the regular season and Indy isn't making the playoffs so it won't happen.
If Denver makes the playoffs though (assuming the Colts don't which they shouldn't), I would want them to win the Superbowl so Peyton could get another ring.

Even though Bill Simmons might be the biggest fan boy in all of sports and it's painful to hear the man speak, kudos to Grantland and it's infusion of young football writers. Listening to the BS reports this year, it's been great to see people begin to use advanced NFL statistics and actual data. The current state of the NFL reminds me a ton of baseball before saber-metrics. There is a ton of value out there for general managers not trying to burn through the cash in their pockets and not stuck to an outdated way of thinking. I'm hoping it will transfer over to how fans talk about football to, because some of the arguments the last few weeks have been painful about Tim Tebow and Peyton Manning

My guess is NE goes after Bell since they missed out on Landry.

Tebow to the Jaguars seems to be the most likely scenario. He's already a beloved figure in the city. He just opened a playroom for sick kids in the Jacksonville area. He is just what that fanbase needs.

"I'd be surprised if there is much of a trade value for him," former NFL general manager Charley Casserly told USA TODAY. "I think it's true that he could move the ball in the Denver offense, but if you break down the majority of his games, he didn't throw the ball well. Coming out, there wasn't a lot of interest in him, and that's usually a pretty good indicator of trade value down the road.
"I'd be surprised if he went for much better than a fifth rounder."

The last thing I want to do is make an NFL thread political, but it's funny how much some of the crazy Tebow fans remind me of the Tea Baggers in the states. Funny because 95% of his most vocal fans, probably are christian, conservative tea baggers. Yes the Jaguars and other teams could expect to sell tickets and sell Tebow jerseys but there's an ugly side to these Tebowners as well. If Blane Gabbert was to win the starting position out of camp, is he going to have any chance to actually develop into a quality starting QB with the circus that's going to be around? Every bad game, bad drive he has fans are going to be starting the Tebow chants like they did in Denver and it will take on a life of it's own with the media to. For gods sake some of these fans believe Tebow should be starting over Manning. If Miami, Jax or Cleveland panic and bring in Tebow, besides that inital honeymoon period, I see his presence doing far more bad then good.

Loved hearing the Champ Bailey interview on Denver radio. I think it's so key having veterans like him on the Broncos and possibly Dawkins coming back. It's such a different tone then some of these dream teams they have. The tone by Bailey is going to work now, it's seeing that light at the end of the tunnel. It's motivating more then anything, it's much less then a beating their chest and bringing on any negative press for the Broncos.

I would take Colt McCoy over Tebow anyday and that is as damning a statement I can say as Browns fan.
