Problem is they can improve the coaching, and the rest of the team all they want. Until they figure out the QB position they won't go anywhere.

I don't think people will laugh at the AFC West as much anymore though.

If having Tebow on your team is enough to stop being a fan then you're not a real fan. I'd be happy to keep him as a backup

Tebow took a team with a losing record and got them not only in the Playoffs but past the Steelers in the first round. Ya, that Tebow guy really sucks, I wouldn't want him on my team ...

Elway is throwing away a young QB with loads of potential for a washed up 36yr old with 4 neck surgeries under his belt in the last year. Im not saying that Manning can't win another SB, but I think if he comes short of getting the Broncos in the SB, Elway will be chased out of Denver in a hurry.

To me this is one of the dumbest moves in NFL history, time will tell....

The reasoning doesn't really matter. A sideshow is a sideshow.

as a viking and seahawks fan id love to see tebow go to the vikings now that flynn has solved the qb hole in seattle.

tebow is a winner and a leader. these are qualities you cant teach someone. he can learn to throw better, you cant teach a loser to win or be a great leader.

Fair enough- an angle I never thought of.

I personally like the Pats being one of the most hated teams... this would arguably take them to #1 on that list.

There isn't a fan base in the league that will be happy with the addition of Tebow IF the intention is to bring him in as a franchise guy game changer. Bringing him in as an additional complementary piece though- I could handle that. With Brady getting older and the sting of the Superbowl loss, I could see the Pats looking to bring in a guy with some running ability on short yardage downs. Still, Tebow isn't ready to give up being a #1- just not sure he is going to get his chance.

Washed up??? Yeah considering a dozen teams wanted to sign him and dropped everything else in the process to try and get him.

Tim Tebow is a crappy QB. Media likes to have a story so they talk about Tebow. Denver fans are THRILLED with this move. Did you watch Tebow play last year? He had terrible performances and Denver still won. He is a good athlete but is not a good QB. Him and Mark Sanchez both suck.

I can't see it happening, as much as I hare our Front office, I would hope that they know that Moore is a better qb than Tebow.

Tebow won't get more fans in the seats. Remember Miami is hurricane country not Gator country.

Gerrard will be competing with Moore for the starting job. A job that will lead the team to no more than 4 wins next year.

Agreed Tebow is a born leader, but he can learn to throw better? Why wouldn't he have learned that already? No denying he helped get them to the playoffs and beat the steelers, but I don't think he's ever going to be a great QB.

Also, has Flynn really solved the QB hole in Seattle? Kinda like last year when Zona signed Kolb to solve their QB hole. That worked out real well. Once Flynn proves what he's capable of in a 16 game season and not one game with zero defense against Detroit, then we'll see if he's filled the QB hole.

BS.

I've watched the Dolphins turn into the most pathetic franchise in the NFL, watched them start Cleo Lemon at QB, watched them lose in new and incredible ways every year and come back time and time again. Hell, I've become a bigger fan.

That said, if they sign Tebow they will have taken it to new and unforgivable levels of pathetic. It would be the final declaration that the franchise is more interested in being in the headlines than it is in being in the headlines for the right reasons.

Totally agree. If I recall he won a game completing what 3 passes?

Fans get so onesided, I saw it in Miami when Miami had Jay Fiedler. The dolphins didn't win back then because of Jay Fiedler. They won inspite of Fiedler. Fiedler held us back while if we had a better than average qb the dolphins would have been great.

We had the #1 RB (Ricky Williams b4 wanny ran him into the ground and destroyed him) and a Top 3 defence back then with a young Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor leading the way, which made us better than average, but we should have been great.

I am sure Elway knows how to evaluate qb's as he wasn;t one of the best for no reason and he must see what the general public doesn't see. In my opinion he sees another Jay Fiedler qb in Tebow.

Mort talking about how Peyton was the one who demanded the teams came to see him throw the ball in person. The 4 teams he worked out for were all fine with just watching the video and workout tapes, but he said for the integrity of the process he wanted teams to see him throw.

I don't think Tebow will end up in Miami. But Moore a better QB than Tebow? How many games has Moore won?

Ha, Elway could literally take a dump on the steps of city hall and not be chased out of Denver. In fact, they'd probably bronze it.

You do realize this is impossible right? Elway is God in Denver. He is the most popular sports figure in Colorado ever and probably will always be that.

Saying Tebow has loads of potential may not be entirely accurate. While I love the guys leadership and will, his physical tools as a QB are extremely limited.

Trust me. Tebow will be forgotten in Denver before Manning retires.

So what? Teams are desperate for a quick fix.

Yes I watched Tebow play last year and when he played for Florida. He is probably the most exciting player I have watched in years, and those games he won last year were out right amazing. By the sounds of it you missed out on some exciting games, too bad for you.

Denver fans will be thrilled only if Manning takes Denver to the SB. Anything less will have everyone asking "why did we trade our first overall pick for a 36 washed up has-been that hasn't won a SB in over 6yrs"

I don't think it would be the worst of the worst. I also don't think he'd beat out Moore for the starting job.

The worst was when we let Dave Wannstedt ruin us. We still haven't recovered and now we are doing the same by giving power to Jeff Ireland.

Wanny ruined the bears and they've finally climbed out of the whole. We where getting out of that hole and we regressed back into it.

By the way I've been a dolphins fan for 20 years now. My pain dates back to when we failed to get Marino that running game he needed and when Wanny ruined us post Jimmy Johnson.

Tebow is never leading a team to the super bow. They had some unreal wins last year, but the defense had more to do with it then Tebow is some of those. Tebow may just go down as the greatest college player to ever play, but he'll never be in the greatest QB of all time discussion that Manning is sure to be in when he's finished playing.

I would think Denver was grateful for a great ride in a time when they thought they were preparing for the worst. But to say that any love for Manning is Superbowl or bust is crazy. I think a proficient Offence where they aren't holding their breath with every drop back and can take advantage of Thomas' skills at WR will be a huge win for the fan base.
