The offensive line was pretty good this year actually. One of the youngest in the league, but improving. Frankling had a great rookie season. Clady started to show his pre-injury form toward the end of the year. Kuper is one of the best young guards in the league.

If Manning comes, they won't be facing a blitz 3/4 of the time like they were this season with Tebow.

As a Peyton fan, I wouldn't mind seeing this.

As a fan of a different AFC contender, that scares the crap out of me.

The salary cap is projected to be $120.6 million in 2012, but the Cowboys will lose $10 million, while the Redskins will be docked $36 million in cap space, sources said.

Dallas and Washington can split the cap loss over the 2012 and '13 seasons in whatever form they prefer, with $1.6 million each going to the other 28 NFL teams, the sources said.

The New Orleans Saints and Oakland Raiders are the only two teams that will not receive a portion of the money.

Yikes.

Moss has been in the 49ers training complex for 3 hours. He ran routes for 15 minutes then went inside for lunch and further discussions.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. A contract with lots of incentives and where he can be cut if he becomes a distraction would be ideal.

Ya the Texans would have to be considered pretty dangerous with Manning at the helm. I would also think that if there actually was interest from the Texans that they would be Manning's top choice. He would have to be willing to accept less money though since the Texans don't have much cap space to play with and still have some important players to sign. I still think it is highly unlikely that it happens even if the rumor is to be believed.

I can't see Gene Smith trading for Tebow.

Texans to release Eric Winston according to his own twitter. Wow. I knew he was a little over paid but he is a consistent player.

Dolphins will get their meeting with Manning but it will only be with Philbin.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d...headline_stack

This is a sure change of pace in Miami, it has been very quiet from the Dolphins regarding Manning. Opposite of their hunt of Harbaugh and Fisher. I still believe the Fins land Flynn rather than Manning.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the start of FA tomorrow. Does a team like Miami sit back and wait for Manning and potentially miss out the "next" best QB in Flynn or do they move on without Manning quickly?

Bradon Stokley says Manning throwing like he did 6 years ago. Stokely caught balls from Peyton at Duke and then again this weekend when he was in Denver.

"People who say the Broncos are crazy for not watching his balls fly, or what are they doing? those people are dead wrong," Stokley said. "I'll put whatever reputation I have on the line behind that guy right now. He looks great."

I think Manning to the Texans could equal multiple Superbowls. Giving Peyton Manning a running game, and that defense to work with is scary. That being said, as much as I consider myself the biggest Manning fan out there, it would be painful to watch him torch the Colts in Indy with that depleted cap hit team they're going to play this season.

And Mort just tweeted that the Fins and Manning between 5-6 hours in Indy today. Philbin and other Dolphin staff members were at the meeting.

I hope the Chiefs grab him. He'd be a huge upgrade for them at the right tackle position.

Since Manning snubbed them...they can spend their money elsewhere. If Manning is going to be a Bronco having a line that can let Jamaal Charles hit big holes will be a neccessity. Winston would help them for sure.

Reports now saying Winston, Leinart, Jacoby Jones and Demeco Ryan's to be cut. Not all official yet, but if it's true then something big is brewing. Something more then just signing Mario.

Not gonna happen.

McClain likely has his finger right on the pulse of the Texans on this thing.
