Surprised no one mentioned this yet... Curtis Martin, Doleman, Cortez Kennedy, Roaf, Dermontti Dawson and Jack Butler in the HOF. Parcells, Bettis, Cris Carter left out. I think Cris Carter gets in next year as well as Parcells. I really don't know how Parcells didn't get in this time, especially since 2 of his proteges face off today.

And the 2011 season official ends.
6 months from now, the Denver Broncos get to work. Super Bowl XLVII champs!

I know you are joking, but if you kick that craptastic Tebow from playing QB and sign Peyton Manning, I like your odds. Denver has an awesome defense.

Man, I not even gonna dream about Manning being a Bronco. If that actually became a reality, I would kiss Elway, Fox and GM Xanders. French.

Awesome is a bit of a Hyperbole when describing a defence that ranked 23rd in the NFL, and had New England hang 40 points on them twice.
If Denver is awesome, than Seattle, KC, and Arizona must have Super awesome defences.

In relative terms, ie relative to what Denver has trotted out for a defense the last several seasons, they were awesome!
At least there is finally some parts to be excited about on defense. I haven't felt this good about the defense since Al Wilson's last game....the infamous New Year's eve loss to San Francisco that started the world of the Denver Broncos to go all 2012 (the movie) for the last several years.
I would argue Al Wilson's inability to ever play again was a huge part of the decline of the franchise, along with the Darrent Williams tragedy and everything that went along with that.

As a Vikings fan, all I want this off-season is a good depth-threat at WR. Percy Harvin is fantastic, but defences can pretty much key on him and shut-down the entire passing game.
Oh, and a healthy Adrian Peterson. Can't forget about that.

It will be interesting to see if the Vikings take Matt Kalil or go for that WR that they so desperately need in Justin Blackmon.
I don't think they can lose.

Whats going to be interesting is going to be the maneuvring at the top of the draft board. My personal opinion is that Shanahan will make a very strong pitch to move up and secure RG3. An athletic QB with a strong arm is what he covets for his offences, and to me RG3 fits the bill. Both the Rams and Vikings, I'm sure would be willing to move back if the deal is right, and the Skins don't have to move up that far from the #6 slot.
But...I'm sure the Rams would love to add Blackmon, and the Vikings would be quite happy to get Blackmon or a tackle. Mike Mayock, actually has Riley Reiff rated ahead of Matt Kalil on his current position rankings for tackles. So if the Vikings have the two as a dead heat, I'm sure they'd move back to 6 feeling that they'll get one of the two tackles at that spot. Cleveland at pick 4 is a team who can go either way, they have the assets to jump up and move into the 2 spot if they covet Griffin or even Blackmon that much. If they don't...they might be happy to move back if the right deal comes along.

Indy is not moving the pick and are taking Luck. Cleveland should make a trade with Minnesota for #2 and draft RG3.

St.Louis actually has the 2nd pick. But I agreee that if a team wants RG3, a team is going to have to move up to that #2 spot to secure him. QB's tend to go off the board earlier than where they rank among players, and I think he's clearly the 2nd best option. For the Browns coaxing the Rams down two spots is possible. But I'm sure they'd love to get something for moving down, plus assure themselves a chance to get Blackmon. If they fall behind Minnesota...than theres a chance they won't get him.

I think there's going to be a bloodbath for that #2 pick and the Rams can make out like kings and set themselves up for a while if they play it right. Cleveland, Miami, Washington, Seattle, and even possibly Jacksonville could all be in on RG3.
