Brynn is OK with Lou, you get personality and hockey IQ (neither dude has both).

The Steinbergs and Walkers of the world are still so young that I can't judge them. They are kinda dry and Steinberg is bad at filling time.

...and seriously... stop having Scott Taylor on as a guest. He's a windbag who doesn't know much about anything and even less about the sports scene in Winnipeg.

Somehow, in the Mike Richards era, Taylor seemed to have some credibility as someone who talked about sports betting, but that was just painful to.

His segment with Brynn last week was awful. They spent 10 minutes with Taylor saying stupid things and Bryn continually saying... "Oh Scotty, I can't believe you just said that."

Worst.segment.ever.

Steinberg is good - he can still keep it together even after hosting OT - unlike our buddy Kerr who unraveled pretty quickly. I think Kerr's PBP he been getting better and better

The morning show is great - i actually listen now - I had nothing against Mike Richards - I just think there is a nice balance now.
I find it more enjoyable.

Bryn is fine too. Don't know Bryn - but he is from Edmonton and if he is a big Oil fan - it's gotta suck, I know i couldn't move to Vancouver/Edmonton host an afternoon show and pre/post game shows and be partial - Gotta be tough and doesn't show that much - Gotta give him props for that.

I have no compliants - although i do miss the TSN guys - It's too bad they aren't on anymore

I've enjoyed Walker's 'That's Stupid' bits... He has the right amount of vitriol that I get a kick out of.

PS~ Don't mind Kerr, but I perfered PL's play-by-play way more.

I whole heartedly agree. Not sure why Richards insisted on having him on and talk about his picks like he had any sort of clue when he didn't.

I have no complaints, and I really liked Richards, but I don't miss him.
I thought Peter Loubardias was fine, though.

I really don't miss hearing Pierre McGuire now that he isn't with TSN. I really think he is an over-rated hockey guy. Not that I think he isn't knowledgeable, and he's entertaining, I guess, but sometimes I think his announcing is more about him than the game.

Bryn is not on today - not sure why (my guess is vacation?) It's Pat and PL today. They have some good discussion going. It's a nice change.

^ Pat just mentioned Lou will be with him all week. No mention of Griffiths that I heard. Could it be the good ship Bryn has sailed?

What I'm hoping for is that Loubardias replaces Maher whenever he calls it quits.

Pat took a week of holidays during the All-Star Break. Bryn's taking a week of holidays this week.

Id need a break too if I had to convince thousands of people everyday for hours that I know a thing or two about hockey.

Already mentioned it in the FAN960 thread in OT, but more topical here perhaps. Duha will now be a morning regular on TUE and THU. About time there was something positive to mention re FAN...

After listening for the past two weeks, I am astounded as to why this man still has a job in sports radio. My 11 year old has more sports knowledge. Steinberg who is not much better consistently makes him look like a complete moron. I hope one day there is some competition in the calgary sports radio market.

Holy F does Bryn annoy me.

Between making stupid arguements with Pat and
repeating and forcing stupid jokes with his guests I just can't stand it.

Today has been terrible.

The morning show is great. Sometimes I drive to a further c-train station in the morning just to keep listening to the guys. Boomer and Walker are hilarious. Warrener's insights are a nice bonus.

I've stopped listening to the Fan because of Bryn.
