Druh Farrell is someone who I greatly disagree with. I dislike her and her policies.

As highlighted by the recent news?

Is asking administration for a firm opening date a policy you disagree with?

You disagree with all her policies?

This bridge has come to epitomize the definition of the word...debacle.
Just a joke from concept, to approval, to execution.

10% were cracked or damaged? That doesn't sound unusual or unexpected? Concrete does crack, after all. It's quite difficult to completely prevent concrete from cracking.

I agree, after the other delays this one doesn't stike me as all that unusual. If this was the only delay it would be a non issue. There are thounsands of projects going on in the City. This one just has a microscope on it.

The biggest problem is that this is a small delay but just adds to the others in the eyes of the our City. I just hope this thing get done and we can enjoy the Bridge, or not, in our own ways.

I personally blame Graham. What a load. Cracking concrete at this stage of the game? Probably a bad mix, which also means QC.

I heard it was pre-cast. Made me wonder if it was made here or in Spain.

Yesterday on Twitter someone called it the ' fleece bridge ' |

Give me a freaking break. Head over to any new bridge made in the last 10 years and you'll find cracks in all of them. It always happens. The only important fact about the cracking is if it's in critical areas. People need to stop being so oversensitive about things.

Yes, that's about the level of humour I'd expect from twitter.

The "fleece bridge" moniker is old news, I think I got tired of it about a year ago. Come up with something new grumpy people!
