Very interesting show down coming, which should be slightly different from the comic but they are really developing Rick into the soft hearted diplomat, and Shane being the callus back-stabber. You'd like to think that the group will follow/believe Rick and Dale, but with Shane being right with his tangent, you really don't know...

Yeah. Interesting to see the redneck soften and Shane go more ballistic these last few shows.

Best episode of the season so far.
Shane going bonkers in the end had to be the best moment and his first kill of the leashed zombie was awesome, total GTA style head shot.
Glad Rick got the final kill. Can't wait till February.

This is a huge turning point for Rick. It shows he now understands the gravity of the situation and the mentality he'll need to survive and protect his family.

Also keeps Shane from completely taking over the group there at the end as well.

Can people mention when they're pasting a comic book spoiler and a tv show spoiler. I read a spoiler thinking it was related to the show I just finished watching and it didn't end up that way.
Maybe that's too much to ask?
Thanks!

Who didn't see that coming at least 15 minutes before the end of the show? It was set up nicely and all signs this episode pointed to that happening IMO . . . Almost a little anti-climactic in some ways, except that I didn't expect Rick to do what he did of all people.

For those who loved that final scene, but felt this season was kinda slow and boring, you're almost contradicting yourselves.
That final scene is not as emotional, is not as intense, is not as amazing if not for the slow build up that was the first 8 episodes of this season.
That might have been a top 5 scene in all of tv this year. Amazing stuff for sure.

Maggie looks hot as is!
Also, great episode. Loved the bloodbath by the farm shed.

I didnt find the ending emotional at all. I am actually glad the Sophia storyline was finally done. I was tired of them looking for her, they should have stopped looking for her ages ago. I havent cared for sometime, whether she was dead or alive. Glad we can move on from this now.
Maggie does have a nice look to her though(great body), as does Andrea(nice body).
Annoyed by Lori and Carl, so I really dont care what happens to them either. Although they are part of the story, just something irks me about those two characters. Carole is a horrible character as well, if the producers begin to eliminate any other people, I hope she is next.

Could be, but I think they had Rick be the one to put the bullet in Sophia to demonstrate that Rick is still the leader, the guy who'll do the hardest job. I mean all the others were content (if not pleased) to kill the nameless stranger Zombies but no one except Rick would step up and do what had to be done to the walker with whom the characters (and viewers) had an emotional attachment.

That is exactly what the situation is. He is the leader of the group and responsible for everyone in it. This is why now they have no choice but to leave or kill to stay on the property.
Great story telling!

So I am guessing that Hershall (sp?) and his crew knew the daughter was dead? But couldn't say anything because the barn was a secret. But even after 1/3 of the group found out, you'd think he could have said "Hey, I recognize everyone in that shed except a little girl that matches your description/age."
If this is true and they knew all along, that will make for some great TV.

Hershel mentioned that bringing the dead to the barn used to be otis's job,so I think it's safe to say that he was the one who brought Sophia into the barn and the rest of the farm crew had no idea she was there.
That means poor little Sophia didn't last too long.

Surely Hershel knew that there was a little girl in the barn, even if Otis was the one to go retrieve them wouldn't he tell Hershel who he had brought in?
