Yes. He was born in early October, 1992. He had to wait an extra year to be drafted, but he'll be 20 before the end of 2012, so he can play in the AHL next year (if I understand the CBA correctly).
Not that it matters since he won't ever play in the AHL.

But. Every one of those players and the many others like them were one dimensional creampuffs, what I see in Sven is a player that could care less about being hit to make a play, will hit to make a play, gets dirty in front of the net and has incredible work ethic.

It has already been mentioned that scoring at the pace that Baertschi is currently is a much more impressive accomplishment than what any of the above four players accomplished. But what is more impressive to me is that this is only Baertschi's second year playing NA hockey.
• Schremp played four years before his 145 point season, and he also played for what is arguably the best juniour hockey team in history.
• Domenichelli had his 150 point season as an overager, two years after his draft year, and in his fourth season in the WHL.
• Sarno played in two full seasons in the OHL, as well as in 8 games with the Hamilton Bulldogs the year before his 130 point season.
• Locke is a bit of a different story in that he broke out in his draft year, and then practically disappeared.
I think that it is really important to note that the difference with Baertschi is that unlike every one of the above four players he had not played a single game of high level competitive hockey on North American ice until his first season of juniour last year. Like all players that come over from Europe, there was almost certainly an adjustment period, and this may have factored into why he looks so much better this season than last year.

There's also Pavel Brendl with 73 goals & 134 points in his 1st year in The Dub with the Calgary Hitmen as a 17-18 year old, and all of 22 points in 78 career NHL contests.

Sure but you have to look at the book on those players. Schremp had skating and rumoured attitude issues. Domenichelli had strength issues which were quite apparent at the NHL level especially in the old NHL. Not as familiar with Sarno and Locke but I think at least one of them had skating or size (or both) concerns.
Bartschi's skating is good. He already didn't too out of place in exhibition/preseason this year. I don't think strength will be a huge concern with him.
There was a reason to believe the players you mentioned might not become NHL stars. I don't see anything holding Baertschi back from being one at this point. If there was he wouldn't have been a potential top 10 pick in a decent draft year. Size/skating/strength concerns would have dropped him lower in the draft. You'll notice none of Domenichelli, Sarno, Locke and Schremp went that high and only Schremp was a 1st rounder at all.
