So you can't answer no?

Thank you for proving my point.

And by the way, you claim you don't think or speak for him, but you sure have no problem rubbing his proverbial ass in other people's faces, especially on this message board, in order to get exposure for him and his so-called message. You sure do represent him, even if you don't claim to think or speak for him.

Is this really the best you can do? You keep harping back to personal attacks. Muta and I happen to agree on the same issues regularly.

And I would say you and your husband are tied together at the hip quite closely with a political cord. This is the pot calling the kettle black.

The petty ####ing squabbling in this thread is more embarrassing than the human #### in the park.

She's like a politician, you're not going to get a straight answer for the tougher questions.

Not at all. I just want her to admit it. It would have been nice if she just came out and said it so much earlier.

So they are given another 24 hours to pack up their tents? WTF? I thought they were already given a deadline?

So there's no point to your endless nattering.

You're worse than my wife.

On a completely different note, does he need to get a work visa to travel to the US for that? I'm genuinely curious, as similar types of work (different field) would interest me on a short term assignment basis.

Actually she is a politician - ran for Ward 4 alderman in the last election. So I'm not surprised at the evading.

If there's one thing I've learned from Canadian politicians on either end of the spectrum, they love to dodge questions, go on tangents, and use their most diplomatic tongue possible. And I've met my fair share of politicians.

What does his motivation matter? Be it for political gain or pure ego stroking

After looking at that picture of the Occupy Calgary protesters in their meditation circle I actually now question the softhand approach. None of them look capable of participating in a physical altercation of any kind. Move in and clear them out and then we all won't have to read anymore posts about Cory's grandstanding counterprotest.

Because politicians from outside of Canada are always completely candid and honest...

Sorry I should have said human politicians. Aliens at least bend you over for a probing without all the bureaucratic BS that goes with it.

I think the previous notice was "In 24 hours we will be enforcing all bylaws & issuing tickets", where as today's notice is "You have 24 hours to remove your tents or we will do it by force" and they appear to be issuing tickets today.

I assume the city's process is a 3 step plan of attack.
First Step - You are in violation of the bylaw
Second Step - You are still in violation of the bylaws, here's your written warning
Third Step - Forceable removal of tents from the plaza

If it comes down to a possible legal challenge the city can say the protesters were given three chances to vacate before the city stepped in.

Last edited by Regular_John; 11-15-2011 at 11:56 AM. Reason: clarification on tickets

Then stay out of the thread if you're cheesed off by it, or put me on ignore if you don't like the discussion, I really couldn't care less.

If anyone is 'nattering', it's posts like yours.

You're worse than the let's-still-talk-about-Phaneuf crowd.
