So there is an agenda behind the filming then? And what happens next after the filming? Taking the footage to CTV and CBC?

Oh yes.... it's a hidden agenda... shhhhh
Actually he likes making crappy YouTube videos like this to enhance his blog writings.

Oha and so the filming & editing can be critiqued by CP

The twins (Ozy & Muta) and I have a long history.
I could post that bunnies are cute and they would argue with me.

Actually, in this case, I believe the occupiers are the ones being questioned while Cory's is being accepted (I'm sure the Calgary Sun loves him too, lol).

Some people see camping in the park as justified because it's part of a bigger movement, other people see video taping people camping in a public park as justified because their breaking the bylaws.
At the end of the day anything you do outside the privacy of your home is no longer private and thus open to judgement from the public. They can agree/disagree with what your doing but you can't demand that they stop looking or give you privacy. If you want privacy, go home.
One group is grabbing attention/judgement by camping.
Another is grabbing attention/judgement by being a loud voice against camping.

I guess that the city has served their notice and expected that today at 9am all of the tent owners would be there to have no unattended tents. As the day drags on and nothing happens though the bylaw officers and police can move in and do their business without a big scene.
I hope that is the case anyway.

We know why they're there, and it's annoying and they should be removed. I think everyone can agree on that.
Why First Lady's husband is there isn't entirely clear, and thus I'm questioning. Due to his political background, his repeated visits that aggravate both police and protesters, his dislike for our current mayor and the questionable "abide by by-laws" mantra that First Lady is pushing, I'm lost as to what exactly his purpose is.
His presence is clearly aimed to aggravate.

Seems to me there is a range of opinion in this thread with people accepting/questioning both sides.

He has been documenting since October 25
He started petition on Nov 1
He has been on Calgary Today, Alberta Primetime, Breakenridge, the Source and a Toronto talk show (can't recall name)
His petition was presented to council by our Alderman Gael McLeod last Monday.
We have lost count of how many Calgarians we have received phone calls & emails from.
Frankly I don't give a D why you think he is doing this.

Thank you for summing it up. I didn't know he was filming for that long and has been on those shows.
That said, I have decided this is all for political advantage to either support his own for-office causes or to challenge Mayor Nenshi. I don't think it's about respecting bylaws at all. That much to me is clear.

So can you come out and completely say he's not doing this for political gain / traction for his own agenda whatsoever, in any way, shape or form?

I think the occupiers are annoying.
I now hate the name Cory because your husband is equally annoying and attention seeking.
Does he even have a job? Just curious, because he seems to have a ton of free time on his hands.
Or do you pay all the bills?

He has zero interest in running at the civic level.
He lost his bid to run for MLA. He wouldn't be able to do what he is doing if he had become a nominated candidate.

He is a seismic surveyor by trade. Mostly is project lead on 2D & 3D jobs.
Typically he is away 8-9 months a year.
Since July 1 he has been in Texas, New York & Pennsylvania. He has been home about 20 days. That includes the 11 since he last came home on Nov 4

So you can't just give me a definite 'NO' in saying that some of this is motivated for his own political agenda?

Well it appears that it's not about his own political gain, but rather for Nenshi's loss. So either way, there is politics behind it.
