Supposed to resolve multiple power issues, and also restores multitasking gestures to iPad 1 users, hooray for that.

I have been wondering about updating the device without iTunes. I'm kind of scared. Here goes nothing!

OK - so that took 11 minutes and 4% of my battery on a 4s. I wasn't having issues with my battery anyway, but I always like to install updates when they become available.

Interesting that it booted me because my battery was below 50%. I guess having your battery die during the install of an update could be pretty terrible. Thankfully it doesn't make you download again. My parents live in the middle of nowhere where bandwidth fears to tread, so I'm looking forward to updating their iPad MUCH more now than I used to be. Hell, I might even send them an email and have them do it themselves.

OTA update went smoothly on my iPhone 4 and iPad 1..
I'm glad the OS shipped with a few bugs, I was looking forward to testing this feature out

I ignored it, and it let me continue anyway. But my battery was in the mid-90s, so I figured I was safe.

I always wished Siri could let me populate my grocery list, but she can't get into apps.
She does get into your reminders app though. I didn't realize you could make dedicated reminder lists and populate them with siri. I made a list called 'food' and as long as you say "Add eggs to my food list", it'll toss it in without prompting you to set a time or date. You can then share that list with your spouse so you have a running grocery list that you both can manipulate. At the end of the week before i go shopping I'll just manually go through my list and add it to my app (I have to do this as the app auto-sorts the list by grocery store section, and I'll never shop for food any other way.).

How do you share the list? Will it update live if you add an item or do you have to send it or something every time?

Russic, how do you use siri to add to specific lists? For example, if you have a list called Groceries, what is the exact wording you use to get "Milk" added to that list? I can't get it to recognize a list by voice - it either tells me i don't have a "Groceries list" and then shows me the lists I have and I can click on Groceries or if i just say groceries then its tries to use location based services.

To create a new list, open reminders, Hit the top left button (the 3 horizontal lines), click edit, create new list.
then tell siri add milk to food list etc

Hey,
I am able to create lists. I can get Siri to recognize that I want to add something to a list in reminders but I can't get her to add to a specific list.
If I say "Add milk to Grocery list in reminders" she says there is no "Grocery list" list and gives me an on screen list of all my lists to choose from by touch. If i say "add milk to groceries in reminders", she tells me that location based services are not available in canada. Ive tried different variants and have not been able to add an item to a specific list by voice only.

When I say "add milk to food list" It finds the list and adds milk.
Have you created the "grocery" list. You should have 3 total lists then,Completed, Reminders, Grocery.
Try "Add milk to grocery list" assuming the list is properly created and titled as "grocery".

I need some help with setting up a couple iPhones on different iTunes accounts.
My mom just got an iPhone 4s, and I was using my laptop to set it up. Although she had set up her own iTunes account, her phone was synced to my iTunes account. I corrected this by changing the iPhone store setting to her account, and logging into her account on my computer, and syncing again with both accounts logged into her account.
Despite this, her phone still prompts her to login to my account when updating apps from the store. Her account is the active one in the settings menu, but mine is still the one that is prompted for from the store. Is there a simple way to fix this? Everything that I have read online said that syncing with the new account activated on iTunes should have changed it.

Whichever account the app was downloaded from would be the one required to do the update.
