I can't get wi-fi sync to work at all actually, even with Windows firewall turned off. Weird.

Got attacked by error 3194 when trying to upgrade my iPhone4 to 5.0; however, just had to disable the tinyumbrella host.
I then got hit with error 3200 (like everyone else), and you just need to try a half dozen times or so to get through to the Apple authentication server.
Phone is just restoring from backup now, so hopefully my upgrade to 5.0 with baseband preservation (sn0wbreeze) works fine

There's a new button on the keyboard in the bottom right. Tap and hold that to bring up a menu. You can also tap and hold two keys (f and j for example) and pull them apart.

I lost some of my purchased songs, if there any way I can get them back?

Yeah, that is weird. You've enabled it in iTunes, right?

If you've purchased songs from iTunes downloading them again shouldn't cost you a thing. Can't speak directly about music, but I've done it with Apps and it was no problem.
Attemping the upgrade now from my iPad. Used to enjoy apple breakdowns... now I hope mine is smooth sailing and not the gong show it appears.

When the phone is attached right? Yeah. Doing a reboot.

For those getting the 3200 error. I found what worked was to download the update file seperately from iTunes... go here:
http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/i...oad-links.html
After you download it -> iTunes -> plug in the iphone -> hold down shift and hit the restore button -> select the file you just downloaded
This way you can keep trying it over and over until it goes through without downloading over and over.

Is there anywhere else I should enable it in iTunes?
It's checked, I've done a sync since checked while it was attached by USB.
When I unplug the USB the device disappears from iTunes, and the Sync screen says that sync will resume when my computer is available.

I noticed that "reminders" sync is available through icloud and exchange (gmail).
Anyone have an idea where the sync'd reminders go for gmail exchange? Can't seem to find them anywhere (I'd assume they would be tasks in google calendar, but nope)

Hook up the device via USB. Under Devices, select it. Scroll down to Options, second option is :Sync with this iPad over WiFi. Checkmark it. Click Sync.
Unhook from USB, device should still be there.

Yeah that's what I thought, but it disappears as soon as I unplug it.
I'll try deselecting, sync, select, sync, now that I've rebooted.

If anyone figures out the wi-fi sync problem please post here. There are several apple related forums ablaze with suggestions but so far nothing's worked for me. I've followed all the basic steps, and beyond that I reconfigured Bonjour and some firewall settings, but the iPad and iPhone both disappear from iTunes once removed from the dock.
Edit: I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. That seems to be a common theme for many.

If that's the case being a common issue with Win 7 64 bit expect an iTunes update, or an unofficial workaround soon.

The only time that's happened to me during the beta, was when a previous sync had failed and I still had a couple apps that were stuck in the "loading" stage on my iPad.
To see if this is the case, just open up all your folders on your device and see if any apps are stuck still trying to install. If they are, just delete them (press, hold, tap the x in the corner of the icon). Then you should be able to do the steps photon just listed above (deselect, sync, reselect, sync) to fix it.

So how does one wifi sync multiple devices (ie my iPhone and my wife's iPhone) using different profiles on an iMac so that each is kept separate? We share an apple id but don't have the same apps on your phones. Is wifi sync any good to us?

A little long on the installation, but it was pretty smooth and painless.
What's this, I'm syncing my iPad wirelessly, and I can use it while it's syncing... the future is here, and it's a couple arrows rotating in a circle!

For some reason all of my calendar events are now in triplicate. Any ideas? Triple syncing with something?
