So Wagner is playing out his final season with BYU this year, so we won't see him until 2012, but Canadian talent never hurts. Seems to be putting together a good season.

The Stamps welcomed five newcomers to their expanded practice roster. The group underwent physicals and a light workout on Tuesday and will be on the field for Wednesday’s practice.
The newcomers include: WR/kick returner Joe Horn out of Ashland University, who was released by the Indianapolis Colts in late August; fleet-of-foot QB Dwight Dasher out of Middle Tennessee State, who in 2009 became just the fourth player in NCAA history to throw for more than 2,500 yards and rush for more than 1,000 in a single season;
LB De’von Hall, who spent the 2010 season with Indianapolis and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and signed with Carolina in July; as well as a couple of defensive linemen, Middle Tennessee State’s Chris McCoy and Texas Tech’s Brandon Sharpe, who attended training camp with the Arizona Cardinals in 2011.
The latter two will get a long, hard look in light of the team’s lacklustre pass rush.

Extra points
Kick returner Larry Taylor (ribs) will be on the practice field on Wednesday and his progress will be evaluated. That just means that Hufnagel doesn’t know what the status of his running game is at this point.
“LaMarcus (Coker) did have a nice run,’’ he noted, though he would have liked to have seen more from the rookie “if he doesn’t take himself out of the game because he has cramps.’’
OL Jon Gott is also day-to-day (undisclosed ailment).

Hope for the Stamps sake that he's grown up a bit because he used to be a grade A D-bag

Reynolds will sit again on Saturday.

The Stampeders returned to the practice field today, and, for the record:
— Joffrey Reynolds did not take reps with the first team offence.
— LaMarcus Coker did take reps with the first-team offence.

For the foreseeable future, that will be a hot (and uncomfortable) topic of conversation with the Stampeders, but the simple fact of the matter — for now, anyways — is that there’s no reason to make a change at running back for Saturday’s game against Saskatchewan. Coker’s one run, of course, was brilliant, and Jon Cornish was splendid. The Stamps have to give that tandem another chance based on what we saw in Moncton.

Just for the sake of discussion, what would Winnipeg offer for Reynolds right now? If Reynolds is going to be on the bench for the season, he probably at least deserves the choice of getting traded somewhere that he would play, and with Reid out for the season, Winnipeg looks like a potential fit.

Seems like it would probably be better for them to at least keep him on the roster as injury insurance, though. And really I don't want to see him traded.

Will be interesting to see how Burris and "his" team respond to what I saw as the worst overall performance for the Stamps since the Feteryk nightmare. Big difference though was that team had a very little talent. This team has talent at most positions but they havn't been playing as 3 connected unit Offence, Defence, Special Teams for 4 weeks now.

Official word appears to be injured but I bet Huff has is happy to have a reason to sit him down.

Talley needs to perform better than he did last time though. The guy has gobs of potential to be a regular receiver in the CFL but he is mistake-proned.

Surprised they never gave Marquay McDaniel a shot at Rambos job. Could be Talley's last chance at the dance.

Stamps OL Steve Myddelton suffered a dislocated shoulder in Saturday’s loss and should be gone a month.

Was Charleston Hughes hurt against B.C.? Didn't hear his name at all... typical of our pass rush I guess.

Edit: Disregard. Google is my friend. Missed Tuesday's practice with lower leg injury.

Do you think Rambo is going to be traded in the offseason. There seems to have been a developing disconect from Rambo with Burris and Huff?

^^I believe he is finished with the Stamps at the end of the year. They have Arthur, Talley and Parker all on the roster. Arthur is ready for a bigger role. Talley and Parker need to give more of an opportunity imo.

They have Marquay McDaniel as well. I think Rambo is gonzo, he has obviously lost a step and appears mostly disinterested this year. Too bad, loved him in his prime, the ankle injury killed him. Toronto will take him on.

Looks like Joffrey could be back in the lineup on Friday:
Quote:
AllenCameronCH Jon Cornish not practising, LaMarcus Coker in walking cast. Welcome back Joffrey Reynolds #CFL #calstampeders
And the Stamps has signed OL Joe McGrath.
Quote:
AllenCameronCH Stamps have signed OL Joe McGrath; he'll give some depth with Myddelton and Deane both hurt. Stamps drafted McGrath #calstampeders#CFL
And Tate appears to be getting the majority of the first reps at practice this morning.

AllenCameronCH Looks like Drew Tate is getting majority of reps at QB; suspect the decision has been made for Friday's starter #calstampeders#CFL
