How is Coles still open?

Also how is San Fransisco (mall junk shop) still open...there are two of them in Calgary still. Northland Village Mall and Marlbrough Mall?

Boston Pizza isn't all that surprising. It is usually where my wife and I go when going out for dinner with our young daughter.

- Menu with things that kids like. (Bugs and Cheese)
- TV's in the restaurant if the games on.
- Reasonably priced for a meal out with the family.
- Atmosphere in the restaurant is family. I don't feel as bad if my daughter spills or makes a mess they are used to it there.
- Quality and selection of food is pretty consistent service for the most part is average.
- Accommodating to large groups without reservations.
- You can always find a location close, always get a table and seems to always be open.
- My wife has recently been diagnosed with Celiac and they have gluten free pizza there.

Is it my number one choice no? No but for an easy choice with the family it is pretty good and reliable.

Haven't been in there in at least 10 (12?) years. I see the one on Macleod when I drive by, so must be. Yeah, I'm amazed the porn shops have held on this long. There must be a sufficient number of old guys that don't know how to use the interwebz.

Yup it sure is...and I wonder if they are now doing better than say 10 years ago when they were faced with heavy competition from the Tramps chain?

I love Harveys. Then again, as a vegetarian, there aren't too many fast food places that have a decent veggieburger.

-=-=-=-

If it weren't for Target coming in, I'd say Zellers. Unfriendly staff, not so great prices, crappy merchendise.

Northland Mall - the whole thing seems like a ghost town.

I'd have to disagree with this point.

Also the last time i went, i had to wait 90 minutes for nacho and wings. I will never go back.

Yeah, for a while San Francisco would have a 70% off, GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! sale every month. Yet, they always just managed to stay afloat somehow. Must have been all the baby boomers having "Over the Hill" birthday parties keeping the cash flowing.

Chicken on the Way. I thought it would be shut down because of what goes on in the basement.

Calaway Park.....location was always a big question mark and when we go the kids like it but always come home feeling sick as 90% of the rides aren't nescessarily fun but just make you dizzy. Besides the rollercoaster and log ride which are ok, I guess, are there any other rides there that people enjoy? 30 years in business though?

The sign actually said:

GOING OUT OF BUSINESS
is bad for the economy, which is why we are having this huge
SALE

...not even kidding. That's what the sign said.

You mean why did it take 35 years to set up another location right?

Speaking of San Francisco, I bought fart spray there when I was like 12, expecting it to smell like farts. It was actually just perfume or whatever to mask the smell of farts. Talk about a let down.
