I don't mean it has to have some deep seeded meaning, it can be superficial meaning, just enough to make you continue to like it

Bump because I got my latest tattoo today! HUGE kudos to Vince Wishart at Ascending Koi studio for just being plain amazing. And the studio is awesome too. Very relaxing and not your typical ink shop. It look a little over 6 hours and encompasses my swim team tatto and my poppy/butterflies tattoo that I had previously from other artists. It pretty much goes from knee to ankle. I'll upload some pics after it heals and it'll be lighter and not so shiny. |

Very nice!

I'm actually in need of a cover up and I'm currently researching shops/artist, may give them a ring.

I also have my right sleeve, chest, shin done so far. once my TMNT sleeve is done I am going to be starting on my back. Most definitely a hobby for me now.

Wow, mad props. Love the attention to detail and the shading on Mikey and Leatherhead. Can we (I) get more detailed shots of the inner part? Say, on Bebop and Donatello? Leo must be there somewhere too!

Thanks man, that is my childhood all over my arm. haha

And yes I know that his belt is shell coloured and he is missing the L but I'm ok with it and no one has noticed this far. haha

All tattoos by Mike Peace at Strangeworld Tattoos in the NW. I recommend all of the artists at the shop, its a really cool chill clean place to get tattooed without all the ######baggery elitism that some shops have.

A friend uses him and swears by him. I went on the referral to him to see if I could get stuff done and he was pretty much an #######.

I don't know what to tell you man, maybe a bad day? I got my first tattoo and 95% of my others by him and have never seen this.

did you also happen to spraypaint this on the side of a wall that can be viewed driving west on Glenmore close to Crowchild trail?

You know boys, when you get to about 50 you realize a year or two is an instant and not nearly long enough to say you will never change your mind about anything, also not a soul on earth will likely have a clue what a mutant ninja turtle or even a video game is when you are 50.

Speaking from experience? Sounds like you are regretting that head-to-toe old grouch tattoo you got a few years ago.

So? Aren't tattoos supposed to mean something to the person who gets them, not to everyone else?

What? So all of us that grew up the Ninja turtles are just going to forget about them over the next 20 years? Have people forgotten about The Jetsons? The Flintstones?
What a weird/silly thing to say...

Not judging by the mostly bog standard tribal or gangster tats on display here, unless you got your tat as part of an expedition into the amazon or during your years as a Yakuzi hit man, other than that you are just aping some other culture for the sake of looking 'hard' which you will regret when looking hard doesn't matter as much as looking rich, for most of us this is sometime in our 30's.

My uncle had a really cool looking eagle in his chest he got when he was in the navy in ww2, it looked completly stupid on a 60 year old with his sagging skin and the fading ink but at least he got it honestly as a sailor and so had a story it was attached to, you guys will just look like 50 year olds rocking mc hammer harem pants.
