Not wanting to deconstruct it too much, but the time frame of this episode is over one or two days, and the characters go from seeing a blown-off head via suicide to joking around with a fake penis and the biggest worry being a drug test. No problem ever lasts too long on Entourage.
Still, a fun show. Drama's story about juicing but still not making the team cracked me up. And Constance Zimmer in that push-up nightie was fantastic.

Scott Lavin annoys me to no end. Talk about your typical looking Hollywood D-Bag.

That seems like a pretty accurate reflection of the viewpoint of people who burn down a house and then move into the penthouse of a super exclusive hotel, problems just disappear in their lives. It doesn't seem too far off from what we see in Hollywood, at least to the extent that what we see reflects reality.

That was beyond painful and pathetic story writing. Entourage tries to hit a dark tone with this almost season long storyline, and ends it with this?
As for Scott Lavin, the first few seasons of Entourage were great because it felt like the show was in on the joke. Outsiders views on Hollywood ###### bags, agents and everything else. Now Entourage is the joke

Think of how lame the show would be if it was just 4 guys with no story line?...
Dice was cut out fast.
This show fata sucks now. I watch it because it used to be amazing. Was my favorite show.
But honestly... The story line so far this season seems it was written by a 5 year old.
"oh no... I smoked some weed"...
"your movie deal could be cancelled"
"oh yay, its not"...
that was tonights episode... Hasnt even been a set of tits this season, and I dont think they have drank once.
This show got 10x worse with a sober vince, and its pissing me off that they ruined such a wicked show, where they can write about 4 young guys playing it up in Hollywood with millions of dollars, countless girls, and sweet cars....
Entourage... Go talk to the writers at Californication... They know how to do it right!

Not really fair to say since Californication is only in it's 4th season. If Californication hits 8 seasons we'll see how the story lines look then.
I didn't mind the episode. It seemed like an episode to break all the tension a little bit and maybe get them back to some good stuff. I liked the scenes with Billy and Vince, I thought it was very well acted. Sucks to see Ari already screw things up with Dana, but I imagine they want to get him back with his wife by the end of the show.
Judging from the teaser for next week they will be bringing Dice back in. Hopefully they pull through strong. One thing about Entourage is that they can usually get through a lot in 1 episode so i still have faith that the series will end strong.

I think that this storyline is not close to being done yet everyone is looking too much into the 5 seconds of partying at the end of the episode.
Vince was still shaken by the incident, he had smoked pot and was worried enough about failing the test that he had to go for help, and you can see that he is still not 100% sure about himself.
If you know addicts there are times when they seem alright, and like they are finally clean. Then much like Vince they have a drink or a hit and rationalize it by saying they needed to prove to themselves they can do it without consequences, and them boom they fall right back into their problems.
I have a feeling there will still be some more dark moments in this final season and the problems aren't over yet.

I'd be willing to bet almost anything that is the last of any of the dark moments and that the addiction storyline is DOA.

Wasn't the biggest fan of that episode either. I really thought they would do more with the suicide angle, I mean if the only thing that comes from it is Vince taking a drug test, what was the point? Shame to see the Ari/Dana angle fizzle out so quickly as well - oh and that scene with Bobby Flay was a big let down.

I get Scott Caan on Entourage confused with Scott Caan on Hawaii Five-0. Same character, same wardrobe, same hair, just less cursing on H50.

I liked Scott Lavin a lot better when he was agiatating Eric. Found him pretty funny. Now that they're friends, I can do without him being in the crew.

He's (Scott) just kind of redundant don't think he adds anything to the show at all. And, don't they have an agency to run? Why the heck are the two partners always hanging out together in the day time shootin the breeze? Pretty unbelievable.
Also, as someone mentioned he's the guy that got Vince into drugs. Sloppy writing for the characters to just forget that and move on.

The last episode was the best of the final season so far. The end scene was on the balcony was classic Entourage

This is who Scott reminds me of:
Or even more likely:
Finally got a chance to watch this season, watched all 4 eps the past couple days. Agreed that it's probably good its the last season, this show was great in its heyday but its definitely run its course. I haven't been hating this season, and the last one was actually pretty decent. But it seems like its taken a step back from even last year (which I thought was a solid season btw).
I much prefer Ari single, I just want them to get the whole wife sidestory out of the way, really don't give two craps about his marital situation at all. I think it suits his character better to be single & cocky, picking up girls like a sleeze. I've never been able to buy his happily married guy role, doesn't fit his character at all. I know it won't happen though, I think he's going to end up back with her.
...and man has Turtle lost weight.

Agreed. Once he locked himself in the bathroom I thought either a) suicide (though I was thinking pills, not gun), or b) Turtle keeps chirping him, Ertz busts out from bathroom to come at him, Vince tries to break it up, gets severly hurt in process by whatever weapon Ertz came out with. Either way you knew it was going to be something that would hurt Vince's rep in the public eye.

I think the only time I have laughed while watching an episode from the past few seasons was last episode when Drama was talking about high school wrestling.
I'm really starting to wonder if the last few seasons have been that bad or if the only reason the first few were good was because I watched them all in a short period....didn't wait week to week. I'm too suborn to stop watching and there is no point in stopping now.
