Really? I didn't see that coming at all. That was pretty intense for Entourage standards.
Good episode though... I actually tend to enjoy the show more when the guys have some trials and tribulations going on.

I think they might actually "end" this series with the guys struggling and heading back to New York where it all started for them.
If they do decide to make a movie it would be extremely difficult for them to make a good story if they end off the TV show with them all successful and Vince being an A-List actor again.
However if they end it with them struggling they can frame the movie as a redemption story of a young successful actor who gets lost in the hollywood nightlife and has to head home to try to find himself. Then the redemption as he attempts to salvage his career after he recovers.
Anyways pure speculation on my part and really it all depends if they did decide to make a movie or not.

...or the movie is a "wedding" based story with Sloan and Eric.

That wasn't your pvr, HBO was running behind schedule last night so the show actually ended at like 11:05.
Shouldn't matter, they'll replay the episode about 10 times before next Sunday so you should be able to see it before then.

Well, i didn't have it called at the beginnning, but the moment I saw he has high and freakin out, I said to myself, "locked room, gun". Just had a feeling that's how they were gonna end it. It was very un-Entourage like, but I don't know why I was feeling that way.

I was hoping he was going to kill Vince... That woulda been a twist! But I hope it is the free fall for Vince back into drugs. I would like to see something dramatic happen. I dont care about an entourage movie.
This is my prediction though... The whole Sloan thing being a big foreshadow.
Vince falls into drugs and dies, retires from acting, or stars on Broadway. Ari Sells his share of the company and marries Dana Gordan. Turtle opens a restaurant in New York. Dramas show gets cancelled, Eric gets fired.
All and all they all end up in New York, their home town.

Some of you are going to be very disappointed in how they end it. I just can't see this show ending on a big downer.
Sloan and Eric's marriage will be the end of this show(final scene will be set at their reception). Vince will end up being Vince. Drama's show will be a hit. Turtle will move out from under Vince's shadow and move out on his own.
That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

I hope to god that Eric getting married isn't the finale. That is so lame and runs contrary to everything that was sweet about the show - rich bachelordom.

well if there was a time to change the norm, I guess it would be the series finale, wouldn't it? Not saying I would like that finale, but I wouldn't be pissed off either. There is a time and place for a feel good ending and this show to me seems like one of them.

I enjoyed the episode. I liked that Ari and Dana got together after all their banter back and forth. I still think he'll end up back together with his wife. But kind of a nice send off for the Ari-Dana ongoing arc.

Stupid predictions:
Vinny's t.v movie turns out to be a success. Primarily becomes a writer/director/producer type.
Drama's cartoon and t.v movie are both hits. Revamps his career a bit and is back in the limelight for some time to come.
The plug that is Turtle will probably move back to NY in the finale and open up a pizza joint or something. He'll have one of those coming of age moments where he realizes he's a lot happier with an honest, hard working job, than a get rich fast job on the tail coat of Vinny.
Ari back together with wife. Cuts back the hours and his role at his agency.
Lloyd becomes a partner at the firm.
E and Scott mend difference and become friends (oh yay) and take over the agency successfully.

This has already happened, or was assumed to have happened between seasons. As they are working at Murphy Lavin Management company

I guess I should say they become bestestest buds and their company becomes extremely successful and E is loaded. Whatever success they have now, is increased greatly.
And E is still able to maintain a humble, honest personality. What a nice guy.

Actually kinda forgot about that little story arc.
The only reason I could see them not having the typical happy ending is because the movie is pretty much set in stone and the happy ending that closes everything off does not really lend well to making an intriguing movie.
I guess they could just go the comedy route and make the guys have one last Entourage type adventure during the movie but I'm not sure it would really work.

I always thought it would end with an Oscar for Vince or possibly an Emmy for his TV movie.
