No, Baseball does not release those sort of details. For example when Wells was traded, Jays reportedly picked up ~ 4m of the salary or something like that. Those details are never discussed.

Jays were able clear a spot on the 40 man roster and find a new location for Rivera... its all good.

I would guess that is the reason the Jays asked for the amount of money which is paid by Jays to be with-held (rumour is Jays are paying almost all of it).

You'll be much happier if the BJs decide to sign someone like a Jose Reyes or Prince Fielder to a long term deal with that kind of money. Trust me.
FYI; Wells has Played Left Field all season for the Halo's, he is not their starting CF.

They are talking about this transaction being like a loan to the Dodgers, to get cash right now.

80's night would better if Jays were wearing 80's uniforms

Colon is getting smacked around every possible way today. 7 runs given up in the first inning!

7-0 Jays!

Reyes looked sharp in the first two innings, just couldn't keep the ball down after that. When Andruw Jones is right, guy still has got it.

Let's hope Bautista's injury isn't too serious.

I'd love to hear why they didn't. How do you make an oversight like that?

That grab by E5 was one of the best defensive plays I've seen this season.

Doesn't matter if it's true. Stop giving up doubles so they don't have the opportunity to steal signs imo.

They're talking about off-field techniques.

Rumor has it that someone in the Skydome Hotel spelled out the words "Oh ****, this guy can actually pitch" in Morse Code to Blue Jay batters during this afternoon's game.

I sure hope they are...... I bet every team in the league tries to steal the signs. If the Jays are, that is all on the Catcher.
