Only had time to play a few levels yesterday, but that little robot dude is awesome. Love the writing and sense of humor.

Man, the ridiculous amount of hate on Metacritic for the DLC (I didn't even know they put DLC in this game?) is kinda stupid. From what I've read, none of it changes how you play the game at all...it's all accessories to change your look and gestures or something? Very strange. The only legitimate concern I've seen is that it's short.

I'm guessing they're talking about the TF2 style loadout/store. For the online stuff you're going to be able to get hats, skins etc for your robot.

I believe the voice is of Stephen Merchant. He's one of Ricky Gervais' friends and one of the writers of The Office, Extras, other shows (UK). I'm not sure if he wrote anything for this game but if you enjoy his voice work make sure to check out the show "Extras". He writes and acts in that show and the stuff he says in extremely funny.

Well I'm done. I'm thinking about 8-10hrs of gameplay. Still not a very long game but I think they went to limit for length without making it repetitive and boring.

What a fantastic game, and the end, wait till you get to the end, it's great. The last half dozen or so tests are pretty tough and frustrating, but doable.

If anyone needs any help or is interested in coop send me a pm and we'll get added on steam.

Happy gaming.

Isn't there like a "hard" mode like the original game had? It made all the levels harder?

I don't see an option to change the difficulty. It got hard enough near the end for me anyway.

You're getting close, that's when it starts to get hard.

Probably a dumb question, but is the single player game entirely different than the CO-OP game?

My wife and I started playing CO-OP last night but tonight she's out and I need my portal fix.

In the single player you play as Chell and in co-op you play as the two robots in a different story AFAIK.

As I understand it, the co-op mode is the "in between" story, what happens (roughly) between 1 and 2. Single Player is the actual "Portal 2" storyline.

Just finished coop and it takes place after portal 2, it is alluded to during the single player campaign as well.

Coop was a lot of fun, really enjoyed it.

Spoiler!

Finished the single player tonight and it's a great game.

Liked they replaced the floating balls with lasers, less wait time.

The only thing I must say though is it felt easier... Some of the levels did take a while to figure out, but there seemed to be a lot more in the way of clues in this game. The number of white plates is far less so when you see one you almost always know it's important somehow, try a few things and everything just clicks into place. Didn't spend much time frustrated or retrying to get a level done, most of the time it was just a matter of looking around.

Still lots of fun though.

Yay! Finished. About 7 hours. I would guess it's about 3 times longer than Portal, and that's just the single player campaign. On to the Co-op soon.

I'm sure they will release test chamber packs in the future. The question is: will they charge for them?
