Good for them...but even if Full Tilt and Poker Stars are completely shut down, I would never play there.

PREET BHARARA, the United States Attorney for the
Southern District of New York, and JANICE FEDARCYK, the
Assistant-Director-in-Charge of the New York Field Office of the
Federal Bureau of Investigation ("FBI"), announced the unsealing
of an Indictment today charging eleven defendants, including the
founders of the three largest Internet poker companies doing
business in the United States - PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and
Absolute Poker (the "Poker Companies")- with bank fraud, money
laundering, and illegal gambling offenses.
...And then I realize that Trumpethead already posted this.

I can still log in, and it says there are 175,000+ people playing right now.

Must be Europeans and Canadians??

I hope I can get my cash off of the site. (P-Stars)

I'm trying to cash out $150 from PokerStars. I will have to see if it actually gets to my account.

I noticed that pokerstars.net works but pokerstars.com is seized!?!?

Make that all the .net addresses seem okay, and all the .com addresses are seized.

The day after Washington D.C. announces they've legalized online gambling at "approved poker sites" and signing a deal to create their own poker site. Convenient timing.

Guess they want their cut and have to remove the competition.
