I love Duceppe in that I speak to french people everyday, and I have yet to meet one that sounds anything like him when they speak

He should be left out of the English debate. We can't vote for him and don't need to hear his ramblings.

Duceppe's speaking problems are not so much the accent etc. but he stammers, or something.

Notice how Ignatieff always addresses the person who asks the question, good strategy IMO.

Also I'm pretty sure that guy wanted to know about the justice system because he's been in and out so many times.

Yes because so many criminals take the time to register their guns on the registry.

Really? This still? Harper's letter says that if the Prime Minister asks for dissolution of the parliament (i.e. an election) after losing a confidence motion, the opposition parties will vote against the Liberals and defeat the government? Either you're willfully repeating something you know is untrue or you're not making an effort to understand. Give it up already. You're wrong and you know it, or at least everyone else does.

"As leaders of the opposition parties, we are well aware that, given the Liberal minority government, you could be asked by the Prime Minister to dissolve the 38th Parliament at any time should the House of Commons fail to support some part of the government’s program.

We respectfully point out that the opposition parties, who together constitute a majority in the House, have been in close consultation. We believe that, should a request for dissolution arise this should give you cause, as constitutional practice has determined, to consult the opposition leaders and consider all of your options before exercising your constitutional authority."

I'd go one further: leaders should receive speaking time in the debates proportional to the number of ridings in which they're running candidates. Since the BQ only has candidates in 24.5% of Canadian ridings, Duceppe should only be given 1/4 the time to answer questions that Harper, Ignatieff, and Layton receive.

Lot's of people in Quebec speak English. You can't exclude him from the english debates just because he only runs in Quebec.

He was wearing a Nucks shirt. He should be locked up, just for that.

How unsafe are the streets of Gibsons, BC?

Well I'm generally in favour of more debates (why not one in each region/province?). Duceppe can attend that one.

I'm just asking where this signed agreement between the opposition leaders is stating that they would form a coalition government. Show it to me and I'll be happy to agree with you.

Jack Layton should not use the word "bling".

...Or, "hash tag fail".

There was an article a while back stating that most police departments thought it was a useful tool. I'm too lazy to search for it though and I doubt it would change anyone's mind.

Layton uses "bling" and "hashtag" in the same answer. He's locked up the YOUTH VOTE with that hip lingo!
